she was part of the 2003 World Championship team for the USA that won the gold medal and she tied teammate Chellsie Memmel for the gold medal on the uneven bars, so I would say she is pretty popular :) I wish she would have made the 2004 Olympic team though
i wish that they made her atleast do a toe catch. and i really dont like that dismount for her when she was doing one back in her elite career that she basically stuck almost every time... it was a clean routine, but im a bit disappointed. i still love hollie though. glad to see shes coming back.
it was good, but no where near where she was in 2004. the new dismount is disappointing, and so is the fact that she doesnt do a toe catch, full turn, or double front dsmnt
why would you expet it to be anywhere near 2004. none of those girls who were on the olympic team or even in the olympic mix who now compete college are doing the same skill level. Why should they if the college code of points doesn't ask them to. It's great to see Hollie back on the event where she really shines!
Well said. Some fans unfortunately feel these great champions can keep their elite form forever. I imagine some Nadia fans out there still expect her to do her perfect 10.00 routines just the same as she did them back in 1976!
Do you think she will compete on floor or even vault? When she left the elite seen, her skills on those events were strong enough for the collegiate scene. She had a yurchenko full and her tumbling is up to par to those on the circut at the moment. I miss her artistry and dance.
I remember wanting to make this meet. Really wanted to see Vice perform once, live.
In addition I support the W&M Tribe (Melissa Cream on beam inm) as well as the GW Colonials when they come to NCSU and UNC-ch.
The trip just turned out 2b2 far.

like sms wrote, "it was good, but..."
Check out Terin's, Courtney's, or Courtney's NCAA bars routines and then tell me that she shines here.
I'm not into all this hardcore, but I'm pretty sure this $H!+ wouldn't cut it at Georgia... or anywhere in the SEC.
