Is it hard to become a "fire bomber."
(I'm not sure what kind of pilot you would be doing "fire bombing.")

A lot of tanker pilots come from a ag spraying background. Factor in the SEATs (Single Engine Air Tankers) like seen here and it's an even more obvious and natural progression.
First Air Tractor fitted with a TPE powerplant I have ever seen. Excellent video!
