  • oh man, thanks for posting this one - i love the black & white, and sepia effects you have added, really gives the feel of a much older show!!! Jeeves & Wooster is one of our all-time favorites in our home! and you just gotta love David Rose's compositions!

  • WOW 0:33 I actually thought he's going to grab Bertie's ass.

  • perfect :)

  • this is dazzling and beautiful and perfect and full of LOVE <3

  • What a shame we can't see the original series with Ian Carmichael and Dennis Price..now they WERE Wooster and Jeeves!!!!

  • I've never seen the older adaption of the series - is it available on DVD?

Anyway, I think Fry and Laurie was perfect for the roles, reading the books it's easy to understand what a splendid job they did with capturing their characters' manners. You can really hear Laurie recite the book for you, as you read it.

  • I wonder if the three people who gave me the thumbs-down have ACTUALLY SEEN the Carmichael and Price series... Probably not.

  • Actually, those people have probably never even heard of Dennis Price who was, of course, one of the greatest Englsh character actors of the early 20th Century. Interesting to note that he went from acting into comedy whilst Fry & Laurie went from comedy into acting...two very different things. Fry & Laurie are fun but are not in Mr Price's class...

  • the opening credits are-The World of Wooster.Unfortunately, that`s all.

  • priapus56 I am in agreement with you .Fry and Laurie do a excellent job-just not as well. But the assessment may be coloured by the passing years.I haven`t seen it in 40 yrs. I believe the original series was erased, but the opening credits are available on youtube.

  • How about that then.. MINUS FIVE..and probably given by people who have not even seen the original series...

  • its funny cause hes funny in this but in house hes just an ass... well he is funny in house and a good actor but his character is an ass

  • wonderful job!

  • that guy looks like a younger version of huge laurie ( House)

  • There's a very good reason for that...;)

  • *sigh*

  • is it really him? whoa.

  • LoooooL

    Genetics one might say ;)

  • There is indeed. Mainly because that IS Hugh Laurie. :D

  • lol!

  • @Sprunk12

    Oh my god, you are right! (;

  • @Sprunk12 It is Hugh Laurie!

  • An absolute masterpiece... It seem to be an old film and everything... Thank yuo so much!

  • Ah, that was absolutely delightful! I can watch it over and over and over. *faves*

  • Hilarious!

  • That was beautifully done of you - suited the music perfectly. And it was a very relaxing video to look at - you felt the spirit of the time in some way. It has a place in my favourite-box...

  • A musical piece by David Rose. In July 1962, he had a #1 hit with with The Stripper. That song was on the charts when I came into the world. Later, I became a pro wrestling fan. Ravishing Rick Rude would use The Stripper as his entrance music from 1987-1990 when he wrestled for what is now World Wrestling Entertainment. Sadly, David and Rick are no longer with us. Thanks for the memories, guys.

  • Bravo! A most delightful video!

  • Great video. can you please tell me what episode it is at 20sec? thanks. 5 stars.

  • "A Plan for Gussie", series 2, episode 2.

  • At 1:34 where Bertie takes the towel off his face, what episode is that from? I remember seeing that picture on Inside the Actor's Studio with Hugh, but I didn't know it was an actual scene.
