The only reason you can compare them is that the Beatles did indeed start out as a "boy band" with catchy, but somewhat generic songs. Because they ended up branching off into different genres and meaning, they ended up becoming the best band ever. The Jonas brothers will never do this, thus why it's ridiculous to compare them. Cheesy boy bands were better in the 90's anyways.
