I'll be posting more tutorials - using both Corel and Adobe products - on various sandcarving artwork tips. If you have specific questions or things you'd like to learn, definitely post them. I'll try to get up some new sandcarving tutorials but for the time being check our youtube channel for examples of sandcarving.

is Corel draw better than adobe illustrator for half tones or a bought the same...i use illustrator and some times have mixed results...

The same results can be achieved with Corel or Adobe products. To answer your question though neither CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator are the means to creating halftones. Halftones in Corel and Adobe products are created with PhotoPaint and Photoshop respectively. If you are trying to create a halftone in Adobe Illustrator (not sure what you're doing), perhaps you are using the "halftone pattern" filter which will definitely NOT give you a good result.
