  • Very cool! I got to hang out with Robert and his band for three days in 1993 if I remember correctly. He was rehearsing for the Fate of Nations Tour in Lakeland F.. We also hung out with him after the second tour show in Jacksonville the following week. He signed my Neil Preston Led Zeppelin Portrait book. I also have some video of the two of us talking. I was talking to him about the riot in 1977 at Tampa stadium and how I had skipped final exams in 9th grade to be there. Cool guy!

  • da324,

Wow, lucky you to hang with Robert Plant like that !! What a great memory!!

Tampa 1977 - did you make it out of there without getting hit by a flying object or a club?

  • Yes, I saw all the riot police coming and I wasn't going to fall for that bullshit.. Typical Florida Storm. It was over in 45 minutes, but the riot police showed up and made folks uneasy. Had they not showed up; I have no doubt the show would've continued. I did get to see the mighty Zep play TSRS, (The Rover intro)SIck Again, and Nobody's Fault But Mine from my buddies shoulders on about the 20 yard line. The electricity was unreal and unmatched by anything I've ever witnessed to date.

  • Oh, I almost forgot. I recently was given a CD copy of the show which was to cool. Pretty good quality even as the guy recording was saying cover the camera LOL!

  • NIce! Way to go. One of the best shows I have seen!

  • omg! how cool lol...you must have been excited. :) i love plant and would love to see him on tour.

  • Robert plant is amazing.<3

    I LOVE HIM!

You made Robert laugh. Class act he is.

And what a memory for you and your wife. Brilliant.

  • I saw them here in CT this past Wed night.I have to admit that I knew very little of Krauss but I knew anything that RP would do would be magic and it was indeed that! I'm getting haters responding to my comment that Plant is a legend.they respond that "he stumbled around drunkenly" I had seen Robert in the 80's and again Plant/Page in 95 but this show brought tears to my eyes! That is incredible that you were that close to him. I would have freaked! Thank you for a beautiful video!

  • Robert and Alison keep on groovin' ... today they added two more shows in September. They made the cover of The New York Times a few days ago when playing Madison Square Gardens Theatre.

    Keep on Rockin!

  • funny !!:)

i saw them in paris and london... truly a journey in a special magic music.

  • If any of you would like pictures from the show, email me !

  • saw him in birmingham a month back will see him in memphis too in july....i wanna give him my "t shirt " too....lol

  • Thanks for posting. Job well done. How cool to give Robert the Tee-shirt!! That had to make him feel good to go back in time like that. That tee-shirt made a famous and beautiful photo shot of him.

I'll be seeing him June 17 in Detroit. Got great seats, 3rd row from stage. He's my favorite singer also!!

  • ya another day with Zeppelin.

  • Awsome thanks for sharing I saw you during intermission and paused cause I loved the T shirt being a nurse ..lol and at the end I saw him hold it up and I thought wow how cool I saw the guy wearing that and yes it was an awsome show but your pics/vidieo are great thanks !Can't wait for my next 2 Louisville was great aswell wooohooo yes they did Raise some Sand!

  • Great to hear from a fellow fan! Glad you liked the video! Thank you for sharing this moment with all of us! If you come across any more pics or fan video from the show, please send it my way!

    Rock On!!

  • You actually gave him the shirt! How?

  • During "Gone, Gone, Gone (Done Moved On)" Robert saw me and pointed at me with a smile - that is when you hear some hootin' from our area. So he acknowledged us and the shirt.

At end of the song, my wife pulled the shirt off my back, and rushed the stage and yelled to Robert "Nurses Do It Better!" Robert said laughing, "I know." Then she tossed it up to him. He held it up, then looked it over and tucked it under his belt. Very cool...

  • good job! thanks for sharing it with us :)

  • Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! This was my first video compilation.
