  • this is the gun they use on Community

  • would the bolts for the x7 phenom fit the tpx pistol?

  • yes, but does it blend?

  • dude i lov you. only person wit a vid like this

  • i reassembled the gun after taking it apart but the gun won't puncture the c02. :(

  • Any idea if the regulator could stand up to maybe hooking a normal CO2 tank to it? I'd do like a remote line or something..

  • @RashMan0 yeah you can hook up a remote line to the TPX. youtube it. TPX with remote line set up.

  • The manual mentions a filter in the regulator fitting... I don't think I have one... would that be problem? After reassembly I pierced a 12g and it just emptied completely as if there was a fitting missing... all the parts were attached but for that filter :(

  • IMO, they realized that people were taking them apart and cleaning them often enough so that filters weren't a big deal. I removed the ones that came in mine with a small pick

  • Good vid guy. Always nice to see the "guts" of a machine before buying. Looks like I'll be soon spending $200 that I really should be keeping ;-/

  • i took apart my tpx and it sprung pieces everywhere the second i got the cover off, what did i do wrong?

  • The tension of the valve spring that goes over the front bolt has been increased in the newer guns to cancel out bounce that would sometimes cause ball chopping. it will go back together the same way as the older model though. You will have to hold it down by pressing on the receiver as you put it back together, then right as you put the body on, slide your finger onto the shroud. Hope that helps!!!

  • @agntSmth83 alright, it works now

  • Good Deal!!!

  • @agntSmth83

How many pait balls can I put in the loader?

    this gun utilize CO2?

  • paintball guns DO have recoil

  • Maybe. But compared to a conventional firearm, the recoil on a paintball marker is like operating a tv remote.

  • lol yeah....love the analogy

  • Are there any paintball pistols where you can pull a slide back? That's a really cool pistol by the way. I like it a little better than the Tiberius 8 because it's smaller.

  • well not only that its 98 threaded so you can buy more barrels and get a hammerhead for it

  • it's a5 tthreaded

  • yes but they are .43 caliber paitballs. Ccheck rap 4. Com

  • Oh yeah RAP 4 makes real model guns.

  • check out the Rap4 T68 Pistol - that can be cocked.

  • that would be rare considering that the slide on real guns move because of recoil (which paintball guns dont have) and to eject a shell casing (which paintballs dont have)

  • is the black stuff plastic or metal

  • I recently played a free for all with two others (a tipp. 98c and a tipp A5) and I got the 98 out but the A5 was a close call cos as I shot I ran out of co2 and had to run away while reloading it, I still got hit by the a5 before I got a hit in the climax.

This is a really good video, please tag it more appropriately because I spent the last half hour looking for this! haha

  • blowback?

  • no not blowback

  • Im suprise Tippmann didnt just add the Remote Line AIr Fitting with theTPX.

  • is the tpx worth buying?

  • Its only worth getting, if youre actually going to use a Pb Pistol in a game.

  • well it is really good for CQB fields but if you play reg. field or woods then its shit unless you know how to use it in those enviorments

  • @timb111111 yes

  • what barrel threds are used in this gun?

  • Tippmann X7

  • Comment removed

  • tippmann a5 threads

  • Thanks a lot! It helped me to clean my gun but when I rebuilt my gun and tried it again the Co2 leaked. I tried 3 cartridges and the 3 were leaking in my gun. My gun had no leak before I openned it. What's the problem? (sorry for my english I'm canadian)

  • Go to your exploded view of the marker in your manual. Disassemble the marker and make sure very o-ring and spring in the diagram is present. Also make sure that during reassembly, you are not pinching any of the o-rings. make sure all moving parts are lubed with some kind of marker lubricant. I recommend Disassembly and lubrication of ANY marker right out of the box.

  • My tpx trigger clicks if i pull it, is this normal?

  • Depends. Does it click near the end of the trigger stroke? If so then that is normal.

  • TPX is not worth it trust me i bought one look at other video's for my recent comments on the matter.

  • I used my TPX today for the first time and my V-1 brand paintballs keep breaking, I will try to take the marker apart to clean, but has anyone had that problem to, or is there a specific brand the TPX likes. Thank you for this great video it will help me a lot to clean the marker...

  • I'm glad you liked it! I'm always suspicious of the detent, if it gets out of it's pocket on the inside of the body, the pistol can still be assembled, but the detent won't have room to fold out of the way. I haven't had too much trouble, but I only use the field paint for the field I play and don't try other brands much.

  • I asked Tippmann about that. They said to use Marbelizer or Draxxix balls. My local store said Nightmare as well. Have not had a chance to test any of those. So Far, only my leftover JT Fluids worked 100%.

  • 2:35 The bolt you are holding, the oring farthest from your hand, my tpx keeps breaking this oring! I had to replace it like times and the very next shot I take it shatters this oring completely! Can you help me in any way? Thanks.

  • have you tried a new detent? it uses the regular tippmann detent. the only time I got breakage like that, a friend had used a fleece squeegee on it like I use for cleaning. The fleece catches small bits on the detent if you use it on the pistol put together and will stop the detent from folding out of the way. I always use the rubber pullthru that comes with it now.

other than that, maybe a burr inside the breechblock?

sorry I can't be more help!

  • Thanks. I returned it te other day and they gave me a new one. Before I returned it I emailed tippmann and they said there might be a burr in there. WTF is a burr? Is that a little piece of metal from the breech sticking out?

  • A burr is a tiny metal protrusion which could be caused by a manufacturing defect or some kind of damage. Usually hard to see, but can be felt with the tip of your finger.

  • the really small o-ring fel out and i dunnna wer it goes

  • Probably the brass tube that goes from the pierce pin to the reg or the small brass tube that joins the silver valve and black reg? hope that helps!

  • Great video, some very useful tips.

  • Hmmm, that valve and spring assembly reminds me of AGD's LvL 10 Anti-Chop Bolt.

  • Except that at the heart of it is a spool system totally unlike AGDs, sweet though!

  • i wanted to be the firts one to put a disasembly vid of the tpx lol but mine was 20 secs 2 long so it got rezected lol nise vid tho

  • It was weird that this one worked out first shot.

  • what do you mean worked out first shot

  • I just sat down and did that off the cuff, just to see how it would come out and it came out at 10minutes and 4 seconds, so we only had to cut off 4 seconds at the end of tightening screws and it fit on youtube(10 min limit).

  • Cool just got my TPX today, had a break fairly quick, so i took it aprt and cleaned it to find i broken O-ring that I replaced....Oil your o-rings even if you have not shot it before!!

  • Not bad for a rookie.

  • Everyone's a rookie compared to the Master!

  • Wow,that is amazingly easy....looks well made. What's kind of efficency are you getting?

  • 3 mags if I push it. It's VERY consistent for the first 2.
