I always have because my life depends on desperation. Most ppl won't, even if they claim they will, they'll do something just under what they force you to do but you want to... Sure, it's fun after you survive, but prior to that, it's a nightmare. Don't worry, even being awkward, imperfect, I'm real quick if the eternal darkness is near then I go back to my sloth state and don't want to do anything, burnt out.

But of course you need to be open minded, and have the thing called fantasy, to be able to imagine pictures as you would see in real life, I am gonna start testing some adrenaline rush theories my self, just need to clear my mind a bit.

What I would do is if you are afraid of hights, go to a very high place stand at the edge and look down for some time remember every detail, than when you come home, try to remember the moment where you were standing at the edge and looking down, that should put the mind in "adrenaline stance" or if you hate spiders, try remembering a spider and imagine its on your hand or w.e, that should get your blood running some faster (Not tested yet, good luck)
