  • That isn't solving the puzzle, that's fucking breaking the puzzle

  • how is a parrot japanese?

  • @tigran914

    Cuz it's in japan

  • @fairfresh OK so if you move a Parrot around the world from China to Japan to Korea to Russia to the US and so forth, what does it make the parrot?

  • @tigran914

    Japan...

If you are chinese and you travel to japanese, that doesn't make you japanese, right?

  • @fairfresh well it's a parrot, animals don't have nationalities -_-

  • @tigran914

Do you know where the botanical garden is?

  • @fairfresh well can you be more specific? like as to where/which country/which city? cause there are many botanical gardens in the world and I don't know all of them :)

  • @tigran914

    This one.

  • @fairfresh

The one that the parrot is in because I'm in Japan and I want to know

  • @fairfresh no, unfortunately I do not, Google? "when in doubt the Google Search Engine is there" :D

  • it's a crap puzzle it's one of those that doesn't take looking for the solution but simply shaking the puzzle and trying different alignments...turns out there there may be a chink in the piece or a spot that can only be accessed after rotating the pieces in a certain way

  • I don't think it's that the parent is smart.

  • "i cant belive i lost this is so frustrating"

  • hey i heard the felyne kitchen theme

  • The report says it FIRST took Tim a few days to solve the puzzle. Of course it only takes him a few seconds to solve it now. He knows how to do it. I've solved that puzzle before too and in less time. I bet I could beat Tim.

  • HAAX

  • well if u do it like 60 times per day it should get easy ..... animals do learn esp parrots.... who can even mimic human speech

  • HAX

  • This isn't amazing the bird has been practicing for months and he is beating people who for thier first time trying to solve it -.-

  • I'm pretty sure they said Ted

  • THE PARROT CHEATED!

  • What's so "wtf" about it?

  • if japanese are so smart, and this parrot is smarter than them; shouldnt parrots rule the world?

  • @s3k71on8 its not smart it just memorized some stupid chain puzzle and repeats the same thing over and over and over and over, , , , , , , and over and over again until it gets faster and faster

  • @s3k71on8 We have thumbs.

  • @s3k71on8

youre saying japanese people rule the world?

  • @s3k71on8 it was a smart ass comment on a bird playing a game that i dont even remember writing. Stop with the questions.

  • Japanese have lower knowledge? Hehehe I don't think so because they can use our technology and make it 10x better, and they have a very good work ethic.

Japanese also eat better than us too when they eat Fish, rice, fruits and vegetables. I would say that's pretty smart...don't ya think?

  • ? japan is very military orientated...

  • The bird does it like 1 million times a day.

  • mcdonlads fuck yeah

  • Is the owner a guy or a chick?

  • chick

  • ... Are you sure..??

  • yes it is a woman...

  • THIS IS MADNESS! p.s. the reporter says "own" weird...

  • That's not a parrot.

  • I enjoy Kim Jong Il in the background watching the show ^o^

  • I thought the parrot was going to solve the rubix cube or something.

  • 0:30 - 0:40 i know that background song from Monster Hunter Freedom ( on the felyne kitchen )

  • Dude hell yes! I LOVE that game!

  • can beat qmens at there own games lol

  • Racist ass hole. People like you give white folk a bad name.

  • xenophobic?

  • omg. grammarmistake hits you for 30 000

  • To ffcloud321, if you can honestly do all of those metal rings in less than ten minutes, I'm pretty sure we would be able to hear you in some broadcast. Just stop, you fail.

  • It's a Zen thing. We overthink stuff like this. The parrot just follows his instincts.

  • SD 2010!

  • no wonder japan beats there children to get As they dont wanna be like them

  • well if all those people were trained to do it like the parrot... then they'd still be japanese

  • wats the puzzle called

  • Ugh, just stop talking, your arrogance is seriously upsetting.

  • ZangetsuLover is a pedophile in real life.

  • I wonder if they give the parrot crack, as a reward for solving the puzzle..

  • we must kill the parrott

  • Go away you bird killer!

  • hahahahah

  • bearing in mind the parrot has done this way more times than them so probably knows the trick

  • BOW DOWN TO THE BIRD OVERLORDS!

    :O

  • i have that puzzle. its harder than it looks actually, even if you already solved it numerous time already

  • Like many people, parrots definitely enjoy a good challenge. Our parrot enjoys untying knots and would probably love to try out this puzzle.

    (gopherdude: Technecly? Really?)

  • Technecly the parrot "beat" the puzzle within a few days and everyone else beat in it an hour.

The parrot has probebly memorized how to solve the puzzle so this can't be counted as a non-human animal beating a human.

It's still pretty wild that a parrot figured out that puzzle though, looks pretty hard.

  • Well I think it's amazing that an animal can do that. Can't say parrots are smarter than humans though I think the title of the video is misleading. But parrots are intelligent not to the extent that it is more intelligent than humans. I have a parrot myself and I can say he is smart but not smarter than me.

  • The voice actors sound so into it, lol

  • Aussie Reporter!

  • Animals are getting smarter and smarter these day.Soon they will be talking like in George Orwell's book

  • Or become president.

    Oh wait...

  • ha ha well said gxcad because Iam sure you are aware of that you can be a total fucking jackass and still be President of the U.S. well said

  • who cares if they said it takes the parrot 2 days... it is a parrot it has to use its beak and foot while standing on its other foot

  • Pffff Training

  • its been taught these people have no ideas

i hate it when they try and make it seem like parrots and stuff are more intelligent than human beings thats just pathetic after alll are they not our pets?

  • Parrots mimic things like sounds and are experts at absorbing things. They are very smart. Although I think the parrot solved it once and then just memorized it cause thats how parrots talk they just memorize the words

  • Parrots ftw

  • I completely agree with the commentators that point out how misleading this story is.

Parrots are extremely intelligent animals, but this bird has been trained to perform a sequence of maneuvers using its beak and feet. It's not solving anything.

  • The parrot does not beat them. He solved the puzzle within a few days when he was first exposed to it, and now that he knows how to do it he can do it faster than a person who has never been exposed to it.

  • @varishnakov Exactly

  • @varishnakov Simple Minded Japanese.

  • They even say "managed to solve the puzzle within a few days."

and they also said it takes, on average, a human 1 hour to sovle it.

  • Wow those people are stupid I don't even have one of those things and I solved it in my head!

  • lol it's a lot easier to think then to do, i can defeat 1001 ninjas with both hands tied behind my back, in my head.

  • u know the parrot jaw is a lot stronger than our hands so he could just bend the metal easily so that it would come undone

  • Don't thumbs down him, what he said was true...

  • The parrot practices. If a human practices as well, they learn the secret and can solve the puzzle faster than the parrot. I don't see what puts the parrot above the average human in this puzzle, but it's still a cool trick.

  • agreed

  • it just bends the metal

  • Amazing, check my parrot who can spell his own name and lots more!

  • OK -- i can never solve these things. This is one smart Macaw!

  • you're gay

  • Puzzle Parrot

  • So Smart!

  • lol, yah :P

  • haha!

  • Amazing!!
