I love your media software tool. I would be lost without it, as i currently have an ipod, so being able to see youtube videos and convert them for my ipod is a godsend.
carpadipoo07, I couldn't isolate the song. I've converted about 300 videos to mp3 for my ipod. It did happen on the Gregory Issacs page as I was converting his songs following the raggae star's recent passing in London. So I guess 1 in 300 odds aren't too bad.
I downloaded a virus that blocked access to all my windows files while converting a song from you tube. Someone is loading viruses onto you tube video pages, what antivirus protection is built into Free Studio 5.0?.I had to get my hard drive rebuilt, but I'm terrified to reload FreeStudio without knowing what if any antivirus protection is built into the program? And I got the virus with firewall and avira anti virus activated.
Could you tell us what is the song you made on youtube, to convert it? It would be very interesting to know the title and author who has put this song (video) on youtube and you'll help other people do not end up with the virus.

@CharlieHend No Anti viris, paid for or free, will detect all threats. I used an older version of DvdVideoSoft, it contained great programs and I had no problems with it, then I downloaded an updated version and I couldn't get it to work. I tried all the forums etc, and I ended up goin round in circles. so I found another one Freemake, now this one works ok, but if I burn to disc sometimes the picture breaks up for a few seconds, but it's ok. @CharlieHend I asked his advice and now all I have for security is' Microsoft Security Essentials', 'Spybot Search and Destroy' and 'Malwarebytes Antimalware' plus I run Windows Firewall and have Windows Defender switched off, I also use CCleaner to clean out temp internet files and cookies etc, All of these are free to use and don't slow my system too much, I don't see the point in paying for something that dosen't do what it is supposed to. This works for me, but every computer is different

@101AOK I'm sorry but I don't find any conflict between MSE, Spybot S&D and Malwarebytes Antimalware. Maybe I led you to believe that I also run Avast, which I used to. I uninstalled Avast on advice from someone and my system runs a lot faster without it, and MSE has saved me a few times. But I think a lot of it is down to avoiding problems, I use WOT, a free safe surfing tool for browsers that provides website ratings & reviews to help web users as they search, surf & shop online.Whats 4 GP

with WOT if it shows a green circle I know it's reasonably safe and if it shows a red circle, I usually just stay away. You can read a review of the site by other users who have been caught out by that particular site. Good Luck

i love DVD videosoft, but there is one problem. My MP3 player only plays .wmv movies (windows media video) so I would have to use a program called

DVDVS is great for free software...but if theres one thing they coud improve on, it would be support for all video and audio files.
