Bio fuels do work!!! The government suppresses this technology to protect their business interests. There are many cost effective bio fuels and alternative fuels that we could all be using but the oil companies and the corrupt members of the government make it hard for us to utilize them. Many inventors have found ways to replace fossil fuels and even create free energy, and many have been assassinated, threatened, and paid off. Don't believe that bio fuels won't work because they do.

Bio fuels don't work. The energy it takes to make the fuel is overwhelmingly high. Gas mileage of bio fuels is horrid, so you are spending lots of money to burn fuel twice as fast. Also, in a world full of starving people, where are we going to get the food to feed them? Big agro wants you to believe this stuff so they can make money. They are using global warming to sell people anything they want.

Okay so our environment is dying that isn't a hoax. Obviously biofuel isn't perfect yet or we'd already be using it. There are probably other alternatives other than as well, which are being worked on I'm sure. At least scientist are working on the problem. So instead of downing them and calling it a hoax maybe you should try and find ways to support these alternative energies because if we stay at this rate of pollution human civilization will die, sitting around critizing them wont change that

Biofuel sounds great, but if you look at it closer it doesn't help. To create fuel out of corn, for example, it takes double the amount of energy to create the fuel than the fuel itslef burns. It is not effieient. That doesn't help "global warming", which is total BS, but I'll throw that arguement in for the people who swear by their deceitful politicains. Also, since food is a global commodity now, people will starve all over the world if we plant endless acres for fuel insead of food.

I don't understand what people's problems are. If the earth is dying how about getting off your lazy asses and do something to help. Me and my girlfriend refuse being driven to the movies and instead we walk and go to the one in our area. I have an in ground pool and we don't even heat it and the temperature is a cool 65 just perfect for the summer. I also take trips to Port Jefferson by bus to save money and fuel. People need to open their eyes and understand that they too can help this cause.

I don't get why we can't switch to eclectic cars. We have that technological today. Bio fuels take oil to make and Hydrogen we have to make the necessary refueling stations across the US with will take a lot of time and a lot of money.

I think that the main problem concerning electric cars is their batteries. Indeed either u privilege a decent power but with a minimal mileage without needing to recharge batteries, or u want to get a car which is able to cruise for a long time or/and mileage but with a weak power.

Such a dilemma !

Some electric scooters are already available, because they r much more lighter and have a lower wind resistance, they need less power to achieve the same speed than their 4-wheel-drive counterparts.

I doubt that it would take effect immediately. There would be some type of time line that would be laid out with certain deadlines. One way would be to gradually decrease the cap. I don't know much about how this sort of stuff works, but that's my idea.
