  • Leaving April 4th, cant wait!!!

  • Sounds fun

  • i sign my contract wednesday! i'm scared!!

  • i'm getting my job hopefully next month; do we NEED all our wisdom teeth pulled out though?

  • @987736 no only if you need it

  • so i am joining the millitary.....and im going to have to get my 4 wisdom teeth out....i just saw a operation video....im scared.....lol they better knock me the fuck out.

  • Lol

  • stupid video

  • @pettyofficer30 Actually its not

  • If you could go back and do it all again would you?

  • How deep is the water when we do our water assessment?

  • how much time off did u get immediately after boot?

  • who beats you?

  • haha the morning after i got the peanut butter shot and got woken up, i automatically jumped down from my rack, but when i jumped my legs gave out and biffed it hard haha

  • lmao u a funny dude

  • what do you mean by if you do anything wrong they'll beat you? like actually punch you in the face? or just make you exercise more?

  • @jjsmith4109 getting "beat," or "worked" means basically getting yelled at for messing up while doing push ups, 8 counts, etc... they don't and can't hit you...AND THAT APPLIES TO RECRUITS AS WELL..

  • I'm not worried about anything except getting my teeth taken out and getting a shot in the ass and seeing naked guys. That's not cool lol but everything else I'm cool with.

  • @Herbyvgc1192 Haha why hell yeah. You live on the ocean :p

  • @Herbyvgc1192 YES!!!....you are in the NAVY. They go out on the water, the potential exists that you might end up in the water.

  • bro whats after boot camp ?? and whats A school ? please reply !!

  • @latino919 After boot camp, depending upon the rate (job). You will attend an "A" school. This is an introductory training specifically for your rate. Upon the completion of "A" school you will most likely, (depending upon your rate), be assigned to a haze grey floating shit box. Dont pay any attention to any "wish lists" for assignment or duty stations they give you. It probably wont happen, unless you request duty in a place where noone else wants to go anyway.

  • @yfna1 oh alright bro thanks for ur info .... over all do u like the navy or did u make a mistake on inlisting ?

  • @Thsmrkazzoo

Well I guess ill see you there. The names plaza by the way

  • @andre3ooo8 I leave may 10th too

  • Yah were gona kick that fires ass! lol. Whole thing funny as shit (despite the audio video problem), sorry about your teeth thing that must have sucked hardcore. What is the penut butter shot for? A nuke came in one day and told us to say were allergic to penasilin =D

  • How is life after bootcamp? I just finished my paperwork to enlist today.

  • I leave may 10 only had a month and half to learn everything

  • @andre3ooo8 well you are already there, but welcome to the worst decision of your life.

  • what happens if you fail many inspections and how many are there?

  • what do you mean beat? do they actually hit you or do they just yell at you?

  • @AmericanGMS beat means to make u do push ups/run/sit ups or what ever they wanna make u do

  • Do they teach you to defend yourself?

  • I got a question about the Gas Chamber for Navy. I heard that if you puke in there then you have to stay in there til it's all cleaned up. Is that true?? I saw navy people puke and then walked away. lol

  • @heavensent1993 yeah if you spill on the deck you have to clean it up.

  • LMAO. i loved this seriously. you were great man.

  • I am getting ready to go in... I cant wait

  • how much running do yall do in the navy

  • @SteVocArter We dont do much running, just a lot of ITing!!

  • @SteVocArter

Next to none, you have to pass a 1.5 mile run in 12:10, and that's for alpha males... 17-21 if I remeber it right. But remember running more then that isn't really needed in the navy, but it should be a higher standard if for no other reason then just good health.

  • Question: Really, I heard people bringing their phones and laptops to boot camp...Can I do this? or...What CAN I bring? because I know the CAN'T list is longer..lol

  • @mattownsu1 You can't bring anything like that. I don't know who you heard that from...but there are no phones or laptops at RTC.

  • what do you do after boot camp

  • @6504pelon A school

  • MA

  • haha im leaving for the navy feb.22nd and i love your video its fucking hillarious!!

  • @7sgrenier

What rate are you going to be?

  • The only thing I have been wondering about, not so much the physical part, simply because, hello... it's the US Navy we're talking about, but like, if you flunk a test during bootcamp as far as book work goes, I have heard they just set you back a week if you fail a test, and then they keep doing so until you pass... is this true? I simply dont want to get in there and get dishonor-discharge over something I didnt understand from the book, or does it not work that way? Please explain!?

  • Hey, so..my bf is leaving for bootcamp in 29 days. im freaking out!!!!!!

he has said we are going to get engaged when he gets home so im not worried about him leaving me but im worried about him being there and us not being able to talk...any advise to a future sailor's gf? please and thank you!!! :)

  • @xXdanielledoomXx he can write you and you can of course write him. that's the only contact you can really have in basic, but in A school cell phones are allowed and skype is awesome. so it won't be too bad. good luck!

  • who were ur rdc's? mail me at jake000016@yahoo.com

  • How bad is that gas chamber? I'm real scared I'm going to die... And how bad is the jump into the deep end for swimming? I'm scared I'm going to drown...

  • @toriimarie, you won't drown. You will have instructors all over to save you if you do almost drown. Also, the gas chamber isn't too bad. Some folks it was worse than others.

  • dont be that guy...lol

  • when you sign up for the navy how long is it before you actually leave for bootcamp ?

  • @zach20088 it depends on ur rate(job)

  • @zach20088 could be 2 months could be a year. 8 month wait for me, I'm almost there though. I leave in less than 2 months.

  • love this guy great video

  • IS THE NAVY AWESOME!?! because iam going to Bootcamp very soon!

  • you're a little bitch eyler...

  • what to memorize b4 the boot camp man?

  • hey man, I'm tempted to join the navy but i know basic is going to be demanding physically. Or atleast that is what the recruiter says. Anyway, how much running did you guys do? Im not worried about push ups or flutterkicks or any of that other stuff im good there. But my running is weak. If you fall out of a run, do they smoke you?

  • @phukhed1 hey best thing to do is start running laps now man. Plus if havent joined then dont worry about it cus IF you get in then you'll your gonna have at least 6 months anyway so dont stress

  • Navy bootcamp isn't shit compared to Army bootcamp. You guys do PT in a fucking gym. Idk how many times we got smoked, or as you guys call it "beat" for hours in rocks, mud, bushes, whatever. But I can vouch for the peanut butter shot, that shit sucks. I limped for days lol. I know what battle stations is also lol

  • dude im leaving out TOMORROW!!!! You know what if i wasnt this would be the funniest shit ive seen all day but man idk now! This "peanut butter" shot has me kinda fucked up man!

  • haha i know you.

  • I joined the Navy in 1988 and went to boot camp at great Mistakes, IL. Joined the submarine force and served until 2008. Get your schooling (navy) completed and go to college. I cannot stress that enough, make the the military pay for your schooling while you're in. Boot camp is nothign when compared to the rest of your life. Retirement pay is great. No matter what job you do, military or civilian, you're going to be told what to do and how to do it. See the world, enjoy it, it goes fast

  • woed to the wise,,if u plan on joining the navy,,,pls make sure u get an "A" school.

  • Will i have to take that peanut butter shot? cause i'm allergic to penicillin

  • do you know if the girls really have to get their hair chopped off or can they keep it pulled back?

  • i am leaving for bootcamp in 2 days i am so scared

  • @borntobeadork I hope u doin good!

  • Wow you make it sound like hell. I'm not even considering the Navy anymore lol. Btw, your sound syncs off a bit you probably already know though.

  • im joining the reserves and i'm going to bootcamp whithin 3 months. but really, i dont really want to go now.. what are the consequences of not going?

  • @kolocho7777 you r a pussy

  • @WOO7570 its too brain washing. but if you want to kill or get killed go ahead dumb fagget

  • how was the obstacle course? and how many times do you guys get to do it?

  • how long is boot camp?

  • @xxLilJXxX 8 weeks plus Pdays.

  • was there any accidents or mishaps? in training

  • explain some more details about the boot camp training cuzz im thinking about going but im hesitating cuzz of the training...

  • whew im glad they knocked u out and gave u meds for the teeth lol u had me scurred

  • aauughh shit thats gotta be brutal... but so rewarding at the end!

  • i just signed up any asvab tips?

  • how long seal school

  • @toon0ner its called BUDS, google google google

  • @toon0ner 6 months. more like 7 with indoc. unless you fuck up. you could be "rolled back" to the class before yours.

  • They actually put their hands on you?

  • Do they teach you how to shoot using your eye dominance or hand dominance?

  • i didn't know navy bootcamp had alot of mental training. should i be a great swimmer before i join?

  • Just curious about how diverse the recruits were in terms of being in shape?

  • would it be best to get my dental well im home b4 i go to boot camp and do you have to be 18 to go into the navy because id like to go asap + do u no what would be the easyest way to be stationed in another country?

  • Hi, I have got a question for you:

Is it true that the NAVY boot camp is easier than another military branch?

  • IM prior service I know I dont have to go and redo boot camp but if I do, will I get a pay upgrade? LIke bump up one rank?

  • They can beat you???

  • @ghost4doom When he says beat he means they will make you do push-ups and stuff like that.

  • @maniacchris oh ok thanks!

  • Can you make calls during bootcamp? and if so how often? Oh and how long is bootcamp? Thanks :)

  • I got a question?... What is the difference between active and the reserves?... And I can't swim that well, will that bar me from joining the Navy?.... anyone know?.... please help!... =)

  • its not that bad haha u make it sound horrible. its pretty easy. I got shipped out last year the experience was fun.

  • I'm a prior about to get back in nov 22. Can't wait. Fuck civilian life.

  • hey man im going to the navy i go to meps next tuesday... but hey man do u have to know how to swim cuz i dont... and i heard they just throw u in the water....

  • can i get in with a ged?????

  • hey man, this has definitely been the best video for bc advice appreciate it alot.

but i got a question, on the fleet. Can u tell me about damage controlman, because im hearing mixed good and bad about t5hat rate, and i leave in september. i know u said your an os, but u gotta know some dcs's.

any advice is cool bro, thanks

  • Hey everyone! So if u all have any questions about the fleet and what its like out there feel free to ask me. I really like to help all the new and young people in the Navy. I am an OS2 and have been in the Navy for 9 and a half years now and am stationed on board the newest aircraft carrier USS GEORGE H W BUSH. Ive been "around the block" a few times. Ask away!

  • When u do a pushup does it have to be perfect every time

  • Hi im a senior in high school I swear in at the end of dis year (Bday) and I was just wandering what are somethings I can do to prepare myself for boot camp and stuff? I have a year to prepare. Oh I'm a female. Are there many females in the Navy. What are you planning to do in the Navy?

  • is their really a weight and height requirement to enlist? dont they give you waivers if you are?

  • I live in Hawaii and want to join. Will they fly me to Great Lakes?

  • Do you have to be an active navy member to be a seal?

  • @tylereturnity Yes.

  • @Epoq well do they offer a seal contract to you in navy boot camp?

  • @tylereturnity Not quite. The first step you need to take is to join the Navy active duty, which is done by going to MEPS, choosing a rate (job) and getting your Navy contract.

To get a SEAL contract you must pass a PST within your first 60 days of being in DEP.

Even though you want to be a SEAL be very careful which rate you choose at MEPS because thats the job you will be stuck with if you don't make it through BUDS... which, I'll be honest, is very likely to happen. Don't just choose BM.

  • @Epoq alright this is going to sound stupid and im sorry for sounding dumb but, what is MEPS and DEP, and PST is the physical test right? oh and whats BM.. again i apologize

  • @tylereturnity Don't sweat it, the Navy's full of acronyms. You'll know more than you care to know eventually. ;)

MEPS = Military Entrance Processing Station. Where all the paperwork happens/

DEP = Delayed Entry Program. It's what you're in while waiting to ship.

    PST = Physical Screen Test.

BM = Boatswain's Mate. A Navy job. Most jobs in the Navy have 2-letter designation, like BM, HM, and so on.

  • @Epoq oh thanks a bunch. im a senior now and im probably going to go ahead and join up, thanks for all of the info, any other advice lol?

  • @tylereturnity Yes: if you're really serious about being a SEAL, start working out now. Literally. Don't put it off for tomorrow, next week, month. Start jogging, work out your muscles (and eat properly, don't use roids to try to get bigger), and swim.

If you can't start working out now then chances are you don't want it badly enough, in which case I wouldn't bother. There's a lot of tough guys at BUDS that quit not 'cause they're weak but because they didn't want it enough.

    Good luck. 8)

  • @Epoq alright thanks allot for everything and im going to do what you said, im already on the football team so the main thing i need to do is swim because i already do just about all of that, except for the roids of corse

  • @tylereturnity Sounds good. As an added bonus, I would start memorizing the 11 general orders of the sentry. You're gonna have to know to the 11 orders (among other things) to get past boot camp and it's much easier to learn all that crap at home when you have all the time in the world. Waiting until boot camp will make things much tougher for yourself... :/

I'd also check out some of the BUDS Youtube vids around here, they'll give you a good idea of what your getting yourself into. 8)

  • @Epoq I will certainly do that, thanks again!

  • I've been in the Navy for 2 years, and P-Days sucked pretty bad...as well as the 3 days we stayed up for the "moment of truth". Best advice I can say is, become a dental or medical yeomen, you can sneak off to the golden 13 and make phone calls at night when you go to pick up you chits....REMEMBER THIS, THAT'LL GET U PHONE CALLS HOME if your slick about it!!!!

  • got a question. when can u request a new rate????

  • @jamesblack1900 You can'y in boot....My recuiter told me that when I joined.....

  • Comment removed

  • hey u have any sungesstions bout boot camp that u can give me cuz im going to join the navy

  • I just signed up today for the Navy

  • I've never been in the NAVY, I'm just basing my opinion on what I've seen and from documentaries and from friends that went through it. I cannot honestly think how the Navy SEALs are even related to the NAVY at all.

  • NAVY boot camp is pretty much a breeze, As long as your not a fatass.

  • i heard they watch you pee in the cup..lol is that true?

  • @FWNiightmare Yes get used to it they do that through out your navy career.

  • I'm joining up soon, how long does the whole recruitment process take?

  • same here.. how was the mile run and how much do you have to run in boot camp? how was the swim test? is the pool extremly deep? and also how many push ups did you have to do while you was there? thanks

  • Hi, can you tell me how many times and for how long do you guys run while in boot camp?

    Please answer precisely.

    Thank you

    keep up the good work

  • Yea, but I hated the 4 hour JOOD watch. There was another watch that I stood too, but I don't remember the name of it. That was a pain in the ass too.

  • For all future recruits, make sure you get on as ship staff. That was awsome.

  • @Chaz2306 ship staff was awesome because you got to miss out on some of the big IT sessions.

  • @bourque129 I dunno about that, I was part of the ship staff and there were times when only the ship staff were IT'd.

  • I'm am planning on joining the navy but i am real unsure about alot of things. If you could anwser any of these questions it would be real helpful. I still have all of my wisdom teeth, will they have to pull them out? If so i hope i get knocked out. Also im not a big fan of shots and i was wondering how many you have to get?

  • @imdjb09 The shots aren't that bad, you get two in each arm and one in you ass, also known as the peanutbutter shot. The arm shots don't hurt that much, and the PB shot isn't as bad as everyone says, it just feels like a little pinch. Nothing too it really.

  • @imdjb09 Regarding wisdom teeth, yes, they will almost certainly be pulled.

Regarding shots, all I can say is, A LOT. Hope you like needles because there will be plenty. If your allergic to penicillin, say so when you are asked and you'll at least get pills in place of the peanut butter shot, the mother of all shots at Boot.

  • I leave pretty soon. Just curious, do E3 wear any collar devices or any other buttons on the khaki NSUs?

  • @emperor0989 They're not NSUs, just SUs. E2 and E3s where collar devices and that's for the SUs only. Your ribbons and a name tag when you get too A school.

  • @Chaz2306

    gotcha, thanks a lot man

  • @emperor0989 No prob. if you have anymore questions, let me know.

  • do girls have to get that shot too?!

  • how was the PT?

  • what was the point of drinking water and running laps

  • hey quick question was there a limit on the ppl that can come to ur grad

  • right now the limit is 4. it can be anyone though,

  • Quick question. I went to boot camp back in '07 and we were issued Service Whites, Johnny Cashes and utilities. Anyway, did they have you get up every night to iron your uniform? We always had to because the utility shirts wrinkle quick and always had to be ironed. Anyway, I know the new digi-cams dont need to be ironed and such. I'm just curious how things have changed since I went through.

    Thanks, IT3

  • well IT3 the service whites, jhonny cashes and utilities are no longer unform.

now we have Digis and NSU's.

but yes we had to get up everynight for 1/2 hour to iron our shit even though they are nearl impossible to wrinkle while in boot camp.

  • Gotta love the pointless shit they make you do in boot camp. I'm guessing that a lot of people didn't bother, I sure as hell wouldn't.

  • hey whats up bro i leave in like 25 days or soo when u take ur piss test do they talk shit to u while ur pissing is it kinda like meps

  • hahahah dont trip on thee piss test.

but like the first hour or so youll completely drop trousers and pants and lift your t shirt and piss in a cup while a petty officer stares at your shit.

  • hey im gettin rede to leave quick question.....how important are the 11 general orders?

  • Know them, the RDCs will randomly ask you recite them whenever they feel like it, usually when you are standing compartment watch. Make sure you are familiar with the ranks too, don't be the one to call a Chief a Petty Officer. A quick tip, don't get discouraged. The Navy outside Boot Camp and "A" school is a lot more laid back, especially in the PAC fleet. And for Mikeschultz828, yes they will probably yell at you when you do the piss test, especially if you take a long time to go.

    - IT3

  • know the dep manual ahead.

itll get you advanced while you are in boot camp and if you kow your shit youll most likely be given a leadership position like rpoc or yeoman or if you know how to sing aroc.
