  • I actually have a bad knee and after the 10k I really was sure it was going to FALL OFF but I am TRYING to strenghten it so I will be able to do the CIM Marathon in December. SOOO we'll see how it goes! :D

  • Woo-hoo! Half-marathon in May! I signed up for my very first half-marathon at the very end of April - so excited to have someone on here training as well. You look great, of course. Love seeing your updates on twitter and being blown away by how much you workout :P

  • Oh Fred NOTHING is unreachable just set a goal and start. If you would have told me 2 yrs ago I'd be running a 10k I'd have probably laughed and said a few cuss words to tell you how NUTS you were HA HA. Now I'm hoping for a FULL marathon by the end of the year. INSANE. Just start SLOW and SHORT each little more will get easier and easier! <3 Nicol

I am still trying to lose the weight though so I am slowly but surely working up to running more and more. Great pictures as always.. Congrats on your continued success. :o)

  • You look awesome!!! How did you start running? My goal is to run a 5k in 2010 but I can only run for 1 minute now.

    Can you tell me how many calories/grams of protein you eat?

    I am 144 lbs and 5'9" but trying to stop the weight loss now by slowly adding more calories. Just wondering what your typical day of eating is like -- how many meals, etc.

  • I wish I could tell you. I don't track anything anymore I just chose to eat healthy stuff instead of fat lots of calorie stuff. Umm I eat anywhere from 2-6 meals any given day. I always always have protein coffee for breakfast and after that I don't know today I had 1/2 of a togo's sandwich and a bag of baked lays for lunch and the rest of the sandwich for supper (regular sandwich) but tomorrow who knows. As far as running I just started I'd run till I couldn't then I'd walk till I recovered

  • then I'd run again till I couldn't anymore even if it was 30 seconds to start then 2 minutes recover. Now I walk to warm up then I start usually at about a 5.2 pace then after a mile I slow to 4.9 for .25 miles then I up to 5.5 for a mile then down to 5.3 for .25 miles then 5.8 for a mile. ect I go up 3 down 2 then up 3 down 2 Then the previous one doesn't feel quite so bad. But when running outdoors I just do what I can do I don't look at my gps on my phone till I am close to my desitnation
