They were "fair" that night. Good in Philly, better in AC and great in NYC. The harmonies were fine without MA.
Wolfie did fine in his place. Towards the end of the Tour, with Eddie out of rehab they were much better. You got Roth back. Be happy with that. Maybe MA will join up again down the road.

The backing vocals are either enhanced in some way, or it's one of the best backing vocal performances ever. Probably the former. If the latter, then Wolfgang is the greatest ever, with spot on pitch, and the ability to sound like 3 guys. Most high profile arena acts (I won't mention names, but I know some of them personally) are using some type of "trickery" (sequenced keys, click tracks, faked backing vocals, etc.) and that's just the facts of life.
For all the haters who said the backing vocals were taped, these sure as hell look and sound live to me (and I mean that in a good way!). Great clip - thanks!!

The backing vocals are either enhanced in some way, or it's one of the best backing vocal performances ever. Probably the former. If the latter, then Wolfgang is the greatest ever, with spot on pitch, and the ability to sound like 3 guys. Most high profile arena acts (I won't mention names, but I know some of them personally) are using some type of "trickery" (sequenced keys, click tracks, faked backing vocals, etc.) and that's just the facts of life.

This is a fan recorded video? This has to be seriously the best audience recording I've EVER seen. Roth looks at the camera like a dozen times. I still don't understand how you go that close and basically ground level with them. But good work.
