Minnie was by no means a one hit wonder ! she was a prolific singer and did backup to many artists and commercials. and she had many more songs within her. Just like Stevie Wonder said she, was an angel recalled to heaven. She had a voice range far beyond the range of any singer and her voice was crystal clear. She was just a beautiful and exquisite,siren and she is terribly missed. One of her more beautiful songs was "Inside my love" you must listen to it.

Could you imagine if she had still been around today? She would have been one of those divas. But Minnie never had a diva attitude. She was very down to earth and sweet. But her talent is unrecognized. She made a great contribution but she hadn't reached superstar status. Had she had a few more years..she would have had more than Loving You. I hate that VH1 considers her a one hit wonder she had so many songs.

Please Keep the Riperton and Jackson families in your prayers as they grieve the loss of Minnie's sister Clarice Riperton-Jackson. Her funeral is tomorrow in Chicago.
