During WWI and before finnish guys were free from Russian military service, but many finnish guys joined voluntarily to Germany´s army during WWI where they got full Prussian military education (Royal Prussian Jäger Regiment) with WWI battlefield experiences. When communists tryed after 6.12.1917 revolution in Finland those finnish Jägers arrived back from Germany to Finland and Kaiser Wilhelm II sent too weapons and 13.000 german soldiers helping our government´s white army.

During WWI and before finnish guys were free from Russian military service, but many finnish guys joined voluntarily to Germany´s army during WWI where they got full Prussian military education (Royal Prussian Jäger Regiment) with WWI battlefield experiences. When communists tryed after 6.12.1917 revolution in Finland those finnish Jägers arrived back from Germany to Finland and Kaiser Wilhelm II sent too weapons and 13.000 german soldiers helping our government´s white army.

The Germans then made the same mistake when they invaded Russia; they underestimated the Russian winters. It seems to me the Finns fought as bravely and as well as any soldiers in WWII. My Nokia phone works fine, so I'm not complaining about Finnish genetics.

Actually... 1939-1944 we fought WITH Germany... After that we wanted nazis out from lapland and northern finland so began the Lapland War Finland VS. Germany (1944-45)

Actually Finland did not want them out they were forced to do so. Finland tried secretly move Germans out of russian hands by doing "fake conflict" untill Russian's heard about the secret plan. Also fact is that Germany and Finland did not declare war to eachother that was more like little conflict than full scale war Germans wanted to ensure petsamo minerals and tactical retreatment from Finland.
