im a carter fan and a jordan fan but i believe not to take anything away from what carter has accomplished that carter couldve been an elite player dont get me wrong he will always be a star and one of the best but i think he couldve given soo much more and won an nba title. but who knows maybe he still can, hes not too old yet..

Dunks don't matter, Championships and titles do!!! VC can dunk his ass off, but he would have fared the same if he played against Jordan in his prime just like Dominique Wilkins, Clyde Drexler, Shawn Kemp, Karl Malone, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, should I go on?? overall, Carter is a slightly better dunker and has better range...but as far as everything else goes (defense, pure scoring, IQ, rebounding, winning) Jordan is much better. That's not to say Carter is bad, I think he has a legitimate shot at getting the Magic a championship next year and hes one of the best guards to play the game, but Jordan is the best player to play the game and is obviously bit better.

@Has1b ...Yeah a bit better is what i said. Jordan is quite a bit better than Carter, but Carter is no garbage player. And yeah, if Carter wanted to, i bet he could last as long as MJ. At 33 he's still dunking on people and is a dynamic athlete. He's in the elite class of athletes with MJ and Dr. J who continued to be great finishers at the rim into their mid-30s. If he uses his post up game like MJ did in his mid-30s he could be an effective player at an advanced age like MJ.

the reason jordan si having trouble shooting in this video is because he's a 40 year old already means he's slowed down and jumps lower compared to carter who is young. But compare carter to the 1980's jordan, you will amazed at jordan's skills!!!

It's not fair to compare the 80´s jordan to anyone in the NBA, he was just above the league. And even now, 1980's jordan is better than the best players nowdays (or from everytime).

i agree with rflteam 101. im the OTHER #1 VC fan. if only he had heart at every game. he just becomes at his best IF he only wants to. look at what he did to the raptors just recently. he killed the team. im sure Carter wouldve been alot better than James Kobe even Wade. well he is still good at times...just not consistent.

he is saying Jordan looks like he is flying when he dunks and VC just jumps alot higher...alot of dunkers jumped higher than Jordan but none had his glide or his range thats why people were so amazed that Jordan could stay in the air that long because of the style of his dunk...

Its the NBA, people will be taller than others. What you lack in height, you should be able to make by skill. MJ is old as he joined the Wizards. Comparing ages doesn't matter either. J-Kidd is 35, and he's putting up amazing numbers still for his age comparing to younger PGs. It's their skill AT THIS MOMENT they are comparing. MJ even stated himelf that VC was becoming an Elite player. Just give props to both players and drop it i say.

its just amazing that mj was able to play at that level at that age. i highly doubt any of these guys are going to be able to do that later on in their careers.
