Notice how the Rubber Soul on the album cover is kind of a gold color.I had just assumed this was the color of the original album but the words Rubber Soul on the original were actually in red.I wonder why the color was changed.The latest C.D. the one remastered in 2009 has the words in red.

@ForresterJambo Are you so sure? Perhaps more a story that brings two people together for a moment. Where the man, perhaps without rhyme or reason, rejects her invitation to bed. Since it's all happening in the moment and nothing is for sure. (And also, according to John, the lyrics were a clever way of disguising several of his affairs. So maybe one affair is rejected for another?) And so. maybe lighting a fire is a metaphor for how each moment must end, as a burning fire does over time?

Even though I love the Beatles and the Stones, I think that Pink Floyd would be the greatest band ever. Some people will agree with the Beatles, some with the Stones, some with Pink Floyd. That's what's so great about music, you're getting yourself involved with everybody else who listens to it.
