  • nice car and sound dude. love the mac exhaust im putting it on my car here soon

  • i saw one of those things. Are they worth buying. In 10 months i can start learning how to drive

  • thought about prochargin? 100 shot nos, 65 mm tb, and 42 lb fuel injectors that fucker would be beast!

  • i bet that would also sound great with an o/r x pipe, im torn b/w flows and a mac setup.

  • sounds amazing. you think no cats with that setup would be a way different sound?

  • Is that an o/r h pipe, or the pro chamber, because I cant find a Mac h-pipe anywhere. Thanks.

  • Hey I hope you don't mind me asking some questions:

    1. Can you smell the gas from the o/r h?

    2. How much louder is this at idle than stock?

  • @ADPGT Well the idle is MUCH louder than stock. Nice deep rumble. Honestly when the wind blows just right you can smell a little fumes but nothing unbearable. I've been running this exhaust setup for over 3 yrs and love it.

  • @FLASHLOOT hey dude nice car i got the same gt and was wondering were did you buy the parts at and how much, how much for the lowering kit? did you get an aliment?

  • kinda weird... i have the exact same color gt (99) with the exact same exhaust, exact same tips, same shift knob, same lowering kit, and the mach1 chin spoiler. you have bullitt pedals, i have a bullitt motor haha.

anyways, nice gt bro, keep her clean. check out mine sometime

  • THAT GREY PAINT AND GREY BULLITT WHEELS ARE FUCKIN SEXY..IM TRYIN TO FIND SOME BULLITT WHEELS NOW BECAUSE I HAVE THE OTHER STOCK WHEELS..WHICH ARENT VERY APPEALING TO ME

  • stock manifold?

  • whats up buddie. i have a 02 gt to. mine is red with tan interior.. i have a xpipe and flowmaster cat back. after hearing this car i want the same shit u got. wered u get all the shit from and how much was it total

  • nice, looking at buying a a mustang identical to this one, except the mods that you have done

  • Nice mustang. Sounds great. Got that "American Muscle" car tone to it. I prefer the late 80's to 93 mustang. Those Windsor 302 (5.0) are great engine to work on. I would like to get my hands on a 93 Cobra mustang in black.

  • Sounds kick ass ... i'm getting my MAC exhaust this week !

  • NICE RIDE MAN. i like all mustangs but this body style is by far the best. '03 - '04 cobra in blue, thats my dream

  • Thanks bro! My dream is also an 03 04 Cobra in Mystichrome or Blue.

  • definately. until then i have a 02 Lincoln LS V8. im about to put some videos up

  • FUCKKKKKKKKKKKK, I already have a gt i want your fucking sheperd....... :( my favorite dog. My life would be almost complete. Favorite style mustang and my favorite dog

  • @FLASHLOOT daamn man, my dream car is also a 03-04 cobra in black and saleen rims what it so bad

  • there is NOTHING like a Sonic Blue 03-04 Cobra. ALso my dream car haha

  • @KiaOn10s especially sonic blue(i think is what its called)

  • at least do a burnout or some but nice car by d way

  • real nice sound man! is that stock?

  • sounds like it needs some help!

  • My favorite sound for the mustangs. Nailed it right on the head. MAC ftw.

  • awesome sound, really good job!

  • Sounds awesome dude. Just picked up an 05 GT and am looking to get the same sounds.

  • Sounds Great!

I added your vid to the 'exhaust section' of our website!

  • Just ordered the same exact exhaust setup the other day. Did you use a tuner to get rid of Check engine light, or the MIL Eliminators?

  • I have the same setup. I used mil eliminators to turn off the engine light. worked great

  • Is that a Missouri plate I see ? I'm in KC.

    Car sounds great btw.

  • Nice car! Thanks for all the different points of view!

  • Jesus Christ, that German shepherd looked like a deer standing in your driveway.

    Beautiful car btw.

  • LOL! Thanks man. Unfortunately I had to put her to sleep a few months back. She was a great dog. Had her for 12 yrs.

  • Hear ya there man, had to put my 5 year old beagle down, he was an amazing dog with a huge heart, but he got meningitis, failing kidneys, seizures, etc. Sucks when you gotta put your dog down.

  • My Brothjer Has The Same MAC exhaust And Its Supercharge

  • arent those tips hanging alittle low? can you ajust them? if so how?

  • sounds good mac exhaust is where its at

  • so i take it that the bullitt pedals add 30 horsepower? lol

  • well 25 or 30 give or take a few hp. lol.. just added a bullitt fuel door today to make another 15 hp. hehe...

  • yea that fuel door will give you minimum friction and maximum torque!

  • lmfaooooooooooooooo

  • Nah that rule only applies to imports from what Ive come to find

  • I got the same setup on my 00 GT. and Everywhere i got people are commenting on how good it sounds..

  • I have an 02 gt also, where could I get this ehaust kit? NICE!

  • what series mac mufflers do you have on your car? sounds great. how is it on the highway?

  • how do you like your mgw?

  • i used to have mac in my 91 5.0 now i have a 06 GT and it sounds weak

  • i like o/r x pipe better then h but its up to what u like sounds healthy

  • Love that sound. I think after so much searching ive decided to get the mac o/r h and catback

  • Flowmaster 40s, Dr. Gas X Pipe, and stock pipes. Trust me.

  • do you by any chance know the power gain with those steeda u/d pulleys? was it noticeable?

  • actually I don't have them on mine yet but I've heard others say they could feel a bit of difference. I think from what I've read that they give around 8 to 10 hp. I do plan on putting them on mine in the future though.

  • It take's about 10hp to feel any diff on 2v GT's.Sweet stang man!MAC sounds pretty gnarly

  • Mac is the best with x pipe!!!

  • You own my cars evil twin, LOL. I think the MAC exhaust sounds pretty good, but I ended up getting SSS instead(Borla ripoff). The tips on the MAC one are too small, I dont like the way they look with the stock bumper. Guess its all about prefference, thats why there are like 8 different types of exhaust for the 4.6's and they all pretty much sound different, LOL. Nice car though man. :)

  • hey, im thinking about getting the Mac Catback System. i already have the H pipe from them. people say the Catback doesnt fit as well as it should. did you have any problems with fitment during install? My H pipe bolted right up with no problem but im just wondering about the catback now.

    thanks

  • Actually to be honest I didn't have any problems at all with the catback install. I personally thought it fit really well. I had more trouble getting those manifold bolts off for the h-pipe than anything. Good luck with whatever you choose. I think you'd love the mac catback.

  • I like the X when i'm at the track. For some reason, sounds i wouldn't like on my car on any other day of the week, i love on track day. For ex. I hate the sound of O/R H with No mufflers. Couldn't stand it on a regular day. But friday nights, it's all i want. Something about that..hmm

  • understandable, some people love it other hate it. i used to not like the x with chambered but now i do.

  • Very nice video. It sounds Exactly like my car with the same setup.

I hate the 'splat splat' i get, especially in second gear with the MAC. I'm considering going to flowmasters, but i'm not sure if it'll stop the splat sound

  • THanks! Man, I know exactly what you mean. That's the ONLY thing I don't like about the setup.

  • I'm thinking maybe because the MAC is a very loud muffler. Maybe if we switched to say..flowmaster 50 series, that would stop?

  • Yeah that's what I was thinking. When I first put my o/r pipe on I had an older Mac catback on there that was a few years old. It was pretty shot and rusted out on the inside and it was obnoxiously loud. hehe.. That 'splat sound' was unbearable. Sounded terrible. The new mufflers made it sound awesome. I do wonder though if a muffler with a little more meat on the inside would make a difference. I've had flows and mac and the flows are DEFINATELY a better built muffler.

  • flows will do the same. it's the h-pipe that creates it. switch to an o/r-x

  • I'd rather deal with the splat than have an X pipe

  • i think it might stop the splat splat...check ma vid

  • Must be nice...

Wish i had the money for something like that but I had to post bail for my wife, (long story:(, meth-head) and cigarettes are $3 a pack! Oh yeah, I lost an entire paycheck at the boat last week. Oh well...

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sweet car, what kind of MPG to you get in it? I'm thinking about getting one but would like to know this....

  • It gets something like 22 hwy if you drive it easy. It's definately something to consider these days... I just had to weigh out how much I love the mustang over the price of gas. hehe...

  • sounds like 22mpg is worth it..

    nice 'stang

  • sweet car man i have a cobra but i love that GT u should put some black deep dish bulitt's that would look sweet

  • Thanks! Yeah I wanna get the black DD's when I wear these tires out. Until then I put some 1 inch wheel spacers on the rear to give it a staggered look. I'm running 275/40/17 Nittos on it now and it looks a lot better.

  • Great sounding exhaust! quick question.

Are those mufflers the MAC Flowpaths? I have a BBK o/r H-pipe and want it to sound exactly like what you have!

  • Thanks! :) Yes these are the Mac flowpaths.

  • sounds mean. Thanks for checking out my vid.

  • hows the drown at hiway speeds?

  • i like the chrome exhaust

  • Man your car sounds Great I recently ordered a O/R h-pipe for my 2001 bullitt and im going to purchase the catback here soon, thx 4 uploading the vid i have no doubts my car will sound great now.

  • Thanks! I'd love to hear yours with the new exhaust. It will sound killer! You just have to let off when you see cops. hehe.. :)

  • what's up bro i have the 2002 mustang 2. but i want to know what's is the name of those pipes or where to order them.

  • what's up bro i have the 2002 mustang 2. but i want to know what's is the name of those pipes or where to order them.

  • They are made by MAC. I am running the Mac catback and o/r h-pipe (no cats). The cheapest place I found them was from Brenspeed on ebay. Catback is around 300 and the h pipe is around 150.

  • that sounds awesome..did you use the stock cats? i've been trying to find the perfect exhaust and i think i found it...do you happen to have part numbers for the h pipe and cat-back

  • Thanks! :) Actually I'm not running any cats. The off road h-pipe doesn't have any cats. You can get the MAC o/r h-pipe and catback from the ebay seller Brenspeed. They have the best prices. ;)

  • awesome sound! what kind of fuel milage do you get in that car on average?

  • what's the song please ?? I fond of it :-)

  • It's the red hot chili peppers song "fortune faded. ;)

  • Great sound! I have been watching videos all day trying to decide which mufflers to go with and I think I have made up my mind! I purchased a 2001 Bullitt yesterday and I am having the exhaust done tomorrow. I would also like to know where I can order the MAC H-pipe or a MAC x-pipe and how much it ran you. Great sounding mustang bro! MAC FTW!

  • Thanks! :) I love the Mac sound. The cheapest I found was from the ebay seller Brenspeed. I think the o/r h-pipe runs around $149 or so. I would say the x is probably about the same. Mac also makes a prochamber which is awesome. Bullitts are awesome bro. Congratulations!

  • Thanks! I was leaning toward the prochamber as they say they have the x-pipe gains with the h-pipe sound which is really what I want. Got the MAC mufflers welded in the other day and it is great. Hopefully make a video myself for those who want to know how it sounds with just the mufflers. Is the prochamber much louder?

  • Well, I don't know if the prochamber is any louder than the off road h pipe really, maybe just a little different tone. Definately some minor performance gains though I'd say for sure with the prochamber. The prochamber is MUCH louder than the stock mid pipe. Money was tight or I'd have gone with the prochamber when I did my exhaust.I had a mac catback with the stock midpipe for a year or so and it sounded awesome. Just not nearly as loud. Taking off those cats really lets the engine breath.

  • Yeah I know it makes a big difference deleting those cats. I'm probably gonna go with the prochamber then as my b-day is coming up in 7 days! When you say you had the catback did you order the full catback system from mac with all new piping? or just add the mufflers. I was worried that I was losing something by not buying the full catback but the factory piping is 2.5" and so is the catback I thought. So is there really a difference? Thanks for all the info so far.

  • Yeah I did the whole exhaust minus the headers which I hear are really hard. I'm not that brave. heheh.. I doubt there's really that much of a difference between the catback and weld ins. Only difference I think is the MAC piping is mandrel bent and flows better. I'm sure it's probably not a noticable differnce in horsepower or anything. Good luck on the prochamber. They are nice! I just ordered a mach 1 grill delete for my bday last night! :D Next are white guages.

  • sounds tight man, i love that rumble. defintely one of the better one's I've heard....most of them are just plain obnoxious and annoying.

  • your an idiot O/R x pipes and magnaflow magnapacks werent made to be nice and quiet even though i dont know the set up on this one just an example your probably some biff who calls the cops if you here musica after 8 pm

  • Thanks man, I like the rumble you get from the o/r h-pipe. Mine sounds better (and louder) in person IMO. People hear me coming from blocks away. hehe.

  • best sounding mustang i have ever heard

  • Thanks man! :)

  • U still got the stock manifolds on?

  • Yup. I'm not brave enough to try headers yet. hehe..

  • Man that thing sounds great...good work!!!

  • when you put the pro-chamber on did it make it alot louder?? i have the same catback as you and im thinking about putting the prochamber on

  • Well I don't actually have the prochamber. I have the off road h pipe. Prochamber gives it a little different sound but basically the same thing is it's much much louder than the stock mid pipe. The prochambers are awesome. If you like em loud you'll love it.

  • when you get inspected do you put the stock pipe back? im thinkin about gettin an o/r h but i dont know if i feel like dealing with inspections

  • well I haven't had to get inspected since the h-pipe install. I don't have emissions testing in my county so I hope they won't give me any hassles. If so I'll just slap the stock pipe back on for the inspection and back to the o/r h afterwards. hehe...

  • nice, you obv got mil eliminators right? hows the install, its pretty much just bolt it in and then use the 02 wire extenders and plug in the mil's? sick car btw

  • Thanks! Install is not terribly bad actually. The passenger side manifold bolts are a pain though. You'll need a couple of extensions and a good swivel socket, penetrating oil and a lot of muscle. (there will be cursing) lol... Yeah I have plug in style mil eliminators. 40 bucks on ebay. They are the exact same as the steeda ones for twice as much. Oh and I didn't need extensions, I believe only the 04's need them but I'm not sure about that.

  • Your exhaust is sick!I ordered the same p/n exhaust for my 04 GT except I have the Bassani o/r X.Everyone runs the Flows on their Mustang and I wanted something different, thanks for posting your clip so I can hear what my ride will sound like.

  • Thanks! :) Glad you like it. Would love to see a clip of yours with the bassani x-pipe and mac catback. I hear bassani makes great stuff!

  • sounds fuckin sweet it was between macs or flows but macs are my pick now, BBK OR/X pipe for me tho

  • Sounds badass dude! Thanks for posting this video, it really helped me decide which exhaust to go with dude. Thanks!

  • Thanks! :) You will get a lot of looks with this setup on your ride. hehe... It sounds much better (and louder) in person too. lol..

  • hey where did you order your catback from?...and which one is it exactly

  • I got both my h-pipe and catback off of ebay from the seller brenspeed. The catback is TK9624 and runs $313 shipped.

  • dude it sounds real good..nice stang man

  • Sounds mean
