  • Nobody is born homosexual, and nobody who has those feelings or desires chooses it either. And the APA is not a legitimate organization on this issue, as people mistakenly assume, for they have been dominated and bullied by homosexual activists since the early 70s and still continue to do so. In fact, their decision to remove homosexuality from the list of disorders in 1973 was NOT based on any scientific objectivity, but a result of homosexual activist bullying, threats, and coercion.

  • SSA is a maladaptive feeling/behavior resulting from psychological trauma having to do with gender. It is a developmental issue, so saying that those feelings or desires is a choice is irresponsible. Acting on it, however, is a choice. Studies are coming out (such as the extensive one in the Netherlands) that show that even in the completely pro-homosexual friendly societies, homosexuals still experience psychological probls 4X more than the average hetero, and well as medical consequences too.

  • Male bodies have male sex organs. Female bodies have female sex organs. DNA self-evidently ordered the production of these complimentary sexual parts ...and, the only reason human bodies have sexual feelings at all, is because of the chemical and hormonal process, rooted in its procreative, heterosexual design. all studies which have claimed to find an immutable cause for same-sex attraction and sodomy have crumbled under the scrutiny of peer review.

  • Ppl experiencing SSA conceptualize themselves as an abstract consciousness inhabiting an impersonal body...they think they're a ghost in a machine. But in fact, the procreative physiological design of the body is self-evident, so any encouragement into gender bending in any way is neither ethical or healthy, and is therefore the reason why people with same sex attraction and gender confusion are more prone to psychological problems such as suicide ideation, and not because of "homophobia."

  • Gender identity confusion and Same Sex Attraction does exist in a small minority of individuals. It is a painful pathology and warrants a compassionate response. However, it is not the 'normative' experience, and is not therefore a paradigm upon which to drive social policy and institutions. Gender as complimentary opposites is a basic physiological reality, which unfortunately has been politicized. This is what is not helpful, and what is truly dehumanizing to ppl w/SSA

  • Google "21 Reasons Why Gender Matters" pdf for more info

  • @funk7000 I'll look in to it further after I'm done with my own article on same-sex parenting, but from what I've read so far, they seem to use a lot of flawed research.

  • @funk7000 Once again, even if you're seeing gender as opposites you denying the existence of other genders than male and female.

  • @funk7000 Still like to see the scientific reports.

  • @funk7000 Always this view of gender as binary. xx-male, xx-female, xy-male, xy-female, xxy-male, xxy-female is some of the possible genders. And by the way, homosexuality isn't just about sex and sexual desire.

  • @funk7000 Where can I find these studies, because all I've read are the ones from the U.S. confirming that LGBTs experience no more psychological problems than anyone else, in a homo-friendly society.

And in what do you base the statement that homosexuality is a result of psychological trauma?

  • @funk7000 Do you believe it's the same thing with AAP, ASA and AACAP as well? And do you criticize the methodology of Evelyn Hookers work in 1957, since you say there's no scientific objectivity to the declassification of homosexuality as a mental disorder? And all the other researchers as well, Henry Adams, Judith Stacey, Sara McLanahan, Kyle Pruett, Eleanor Maccoby etc. Where are the studies concluding that homosexuality is a mental disorder?

  • No, you're drawing too general a conclusion. This would be like saying that because I prefer cats, that dogs are unnecessary and replaceable. Also, along the same lines, what about families with single parents? Is it true that because a woman is raising kids on her own that she claims that a partner is unnecessary? I'm not entirely sure where you were taught about gender discrimination, but it has nothing to do with heterosexism or heterocentrism in this sense.

  • When 2 women claim they're capable of having the same relationship as a man and woman do, they're making a claim that his contribution to relationships, marriage, and family is replaceable and unnecessary. And 2 men claiming their relationship is just as much a relationship or marriage as a hetero committed relationship, dismisses any contribution of every woman, thus also claiming women are inconsequential to relationships, marriage, and family. This is REAL (gender) discrimination.

  • @funk7000 Um... No. Somebody's sexual preference does not indicate that they don't appreciate other sexual preferences or genders. That makes no sense at all. Simple case in point is that being in a heterosexual relationship does not mean you automatically don't appreciate the relationship that two gay people may have. Likewise, gay people are not rejecting heterosexual relationships as a concept or part of society, it is simply that their sexual preference is not heterosexual.

  • this is another example of a person that just needs to go away, yep the guy!

  • Lol I love that double standard and twisted logic it is so absurd it actually made me laugh, pitty it's reality and not a comedy show :/

"Yes absolutely it would be a difference if it were a woman instead of a man" and then so on is blaming it on people accusing people of gay bashing lol... Love the hypocrisy, double standards and plain flat out ludicrous right wing groups.

  • Ehh, the Family 'Research' Counsel does little more than scour the internet trying to cite (if they did not just make it up themselves) anything that fits there pre-decided conclusions. I would probably trust neo-nazis with the topic of black history more than these wackos on the topic of homosexuality.

  • to fuckin bad

  • I hate how these morons on the right call their bigotry and intolerance "values." How is hate a value? How is discrimination a value? How is mischaracterizing an entire population of people a value? These people always talk about how they're "values voters", as if people who are liberal or moderate don't have values. As George Will once said, everyone is a values voter! I'm sick to death at how these Republicans have monopolized the term "values" for political gain.

  • @Whoo69 banning interracial marriage and saying jews were responsible for the murder of christ were seen as "values" by the catholic church until the 60s

  • david smith owned the chick.

  • Why do the people at FRC hate so many people?

  • god do I hate people who do a fake smile when there pissed off

  • At first I thought he had completely missed the point, but wow, what kind of nonsense was she spouting? The Republican leadership were AFRAID of being called gay bashers and that's why they didn't do something about an illegal relationship? What has she been smoking?
