You are awesome, Thanks for an excellent review of our O/S. We are now hosted majority through Sourceforge, we also have a gamers edition 2.4. I am working on a UE 2.6, please visit my profile page for details. I have added you to my favorites on youtube.
Perhaps I can also provide you a link on our homepage, the least I can do.
janerfurtultra 2.5 is UE 2.4 with gnome, KDE and XFCE selectable at login.
personally I don't like having a ton of packages that I'll never use installed on my system. It uses up disk space... when I update, even the apps I don't use will get updated, so more bandwidth usage... and some may have daemons or services running in the background, which means more RAM use... It sounds more like bloat. I like light and fast. But that's just me.
@librano it's a wee more heavy definitely with redundant applications. Boots at 299 MB of memory. I'd would say it is good for those who might not know of these applications & gives you an exploration pool of some of the best known, & unknown applications. I guess someone who picks through them can just remove what they don't need.
Can you still have GNOME2x interface?

Looks great. Torrents would be ideal for this distro.
