  • If it's voluntary, it's also mercy.

  • It's reverse psychology scientific murder !

  • if my mom were pleading me 2 die I'D.....I'd....i'd.....oh mygosh ....i hope dat never happens....i wuldn't know wut 2 do

  • MERCY not MURDER....

  • I have Thor on my side. I think it's not murder but it shouldn't be allowed. How can one get into Valhalla after not dieing not in battle. Don't let your love ones pick euthanasia, let them die on their weapons and they shell ascend on with the Valkyires.

  • In Canada we're still debating about this one... I vote MERCY not murder... and my grand parents said if ever they would be incapacitated - they don't want to live on life support or anything close , they wrote it in their WILL... with a lawyer...

  • Does anyone notice that the countries that this is shot in all have Govt Health care? No Posh Elderly Living Complexes with full time nurses and facility staff. These are all UN-necessary expenses for these parts of society that are not USEFUL anymore. Here they are housed like a daycare. Here it is - Hopelessness - Helplessness - See your future OBAMA Voters!

  • youth in asia? whats wrong with that

  • There is no god. Do as thou wilt, lol.

  • The woman in the grey fur hat says[[ this is LIFE? I]] I say keeping these people suffering like that is TORTURE!!!

  • Mercy - it is been done in other countries for many years...

  • if some one has a Terminal Illness it's all about "quality of life" and this should be between them and their Doctor and NO ONE ELSE!

  • I want euthanasia!

  • Its murder. Oxycontin is cheap enough to provide wonderful pain relief without having to kill anyone.

It is uncivilized and savage to do euthanasia. It is said some of the US billionaires want to have euthanasia in America.

  • does my opinion really counts ?

  • I don't really know what to think of this.

  • Euthanasia is nothing less, than murder. We cannot play God, but many are and that's wrong.

We should do all we can to make a persons life pleasant up to the very end. When we go to deciding whether a person should live or die, that's when we stop being a human.

  • we aren't deciding anything-the person suffering is. it is arrogant to try to tell them they cannot. if your belief is that they will burn in hell, then that is fine, it is still their choice, life, and/or soul that will be punished. no one is saying you should kill yourself, just let me if i want to.

  • Believe me I know about suffering. I was born with a heart defect, that prevented me from being a professional scuba diver. I'm a professional swimmer & that was my dream. Then in my 20s I was struck with what they call Fibromyalgia. First 2 years I begged God to take me home the pain was that severe. I'm glad He didn't though.

  • You are still young, and you don't speak for everyone.

Everyone should have the right to choose.

No one should tell someone else that they can stand the pain, or that they can't end it.

Your life should always be in your own hands.

  • Well it is...it's called suicide when we take our own life, but when others are involved, then it's no longer our sin, but the persons who's ending the life of another. Then it's called murder.

  • There is no sin. There is no god. God is an illusion perpetrated by a ruling elite to control the masses through fear. Therefor, there is no sin. Only the compassionate ending of pain.

If there WERE a god, he gave us free will for one reason. To exercise it. Not to be bound to archaic moral standards, or follow the tennents of a religion that only stifles the human spirit.

How can you put your faith in something that has hindered the progression of mankind? How?

People have the right to choose.

  • Bravo, absolutely right on!!

  • @jreed136 is murder a sin?

  • Murder is an act of aggression, you are FORCEFULLY killing someone.

If you end someones life after they beg you too because they can no longer move, or are in such pain that they cannot stand to live, or because they do not want to live their lives as a vegetable, barely human... That is called mercy.

Your god should understand mercy, lest he has none.

Epicurus would say that he doesn't.

    I concur with Epicurus.

  • @jreed136 Is it a sin?

  • Murder is -wrong-.

A sin? No. There's no such things as sins in the real world, the real world not bound by the laws of a false deity.

So no, it is not a sin. But it is completely and totally wrong to maliciously kill your fellow man.

  • @jreed136 To sin means you've done something wrong. An error that separates us from God.

You actually do believe in sin or you wouldn't say murder is wrong. You're just rebelling against the fact that there's a God.

  • You can try to push your faith onto me, force your faith upon this issue but it isn't going to work.

I do not, nor will I ever believe in your god. His "rules" do not apply here.

  • @jreed136 God's rules apply everywhere. If you don't want to obey Him, then fine. He doesn't force you too.

  • Awh nevermind. You are blinded by your faith, your opinion on the matter at hand is not your own.

    Good day.

  • I once was blind, but now I see

  • That's now how it works.

  • Well said.

  • then you advocate giving people the ability to take their own life peacefully?

  • Nowadays we have all sorts of pain medications. There's no reason to take our own lives. When a person is bedridden they can read and write. Tell their personal stories. We can learn alot from the elderly. I love sitting and listening to the stories my 81 yr old dad tells. He has emphysema, black lung, and now a heart condition. He gets down and out lots of times, but with me here I talk about happy stuff. Especially God. He loves it when I talk to him about God.

  • Sometimes pain medication does not work. Sometimes it's just not enough. Sometimes you can't bring someone back from the brink. It should be THEIR choice. Who the fuck are we to tell someone else that their pain can't be ended for good?

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?

    Then he is not omnipotent.

Is he able, but not willing?

    Then he is malevolent.

Is he both able and willing?

    Then whence cometh evil?

Is he neither able nor willing?

    Then why call him God?

    -Epicurus

  • you make me know all is not lost with the human race

  • not everyone who is bedridden can do those things. i used to live with an ex and her dad; he was on pain meds, and they didnt help. it was the most horrifying experience of my life. if he wanted to die it should have been his choice. drugging everyone and stripping them of choice is horrible

  • We have a duty to reach out to those who are suffering. We can save lives, instead of watching them die early. That's wrong. We should never take the place of God, and say it's time to die. That is just incomprehensible to me.

  • It's incomprehensible to me that you follow blindly the words of your religion passed down and corrupted through the ages, that you so whole heartedly believe in a thing that doesn't exist.

  • I know in whom I believe. I talk to Him every day.

You can too, if you want to bad enough. As for me, I'd rather have Christ on my side, than be without Him. He's the Only One who can give us peace and Eternal Life.

  • The evidence is so overwhelming that anyone who honestly looks at it with an open mind will conclude that God must exist.

As the Bible says, "Since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse" (Romans 1:20).

  • There is no evidence for or against god. You cannot prove he exists and I cannot disprove him.

We only know the choices we make and how WE feel. You feel you have some father-figure shaking his finger at you from unimaginable distances away, and I believe in the strength of the human spirit.

I don't need a god by my side because I am strong minded, and strong willed enough to go about live without someone holding my hand.

That is why I believe in their right to choose.

  • I use to date an atheist yrs ago. Whenever I'd eat supper at his parents house, and they'd always say grace.....he'd bow his head and pray too.

  • I'm an agnostic.

I'm tired of your typical Catholic rants about how I need god.

You are brainwashed, and I feel sorry for you.

    Goodbye.

  • Ditto, same here... they say Christians mustn't kill, right? How about all the wars?

  • Christians are hypocrites.

It's okay to end a life in the name of god, but not in the name of mercy.

  • I'm not trying to argue with you, but how do modern Christians believe that killing in the name of God is acceptable?

  • No idea. I'm not a modern Christian. Ask them.

  • @jreed136 Not all Christians believe that it is right to end a life in the name of God.

  • You may think you don't need God, but that's just because He's been by you all your life and you don't even realize it. Don't wait too long to humble yourself before Him, ask him to prove himself to you and He will. I did when I was 20 and He answered a specific prayer, after a year went by my prayer was answered. I waited and waited, and He proved himself to me. He will anyone, if they really want to know the Truth.

  • any request will be answered if one waits long enough. if i wait on the side of a busy road with my thumb out long enough someone will stop, but is that a miracle or common sense?

  • if we can be like God , then he lacks power, if we cannot, then us assisting suicide is His will, or he would stop it. we can't cure everything yet; we can't even cure the flu

  • Finally I found a doctor who knew what I had, and prescribed me some pain medication.

No one really wants to die. They just want the pain to stop.

Just when we're about to give up is when help is on the way. When life seems like it can't get any worse is when we need to draw close to God.

  • I would want to die if I was one of them..

  • Yeah maybe you would, but if it was one of your parents or siblings I doubt you'd want to be the one to say pull the plug.

  • Only ones calling this murder are religious

  • Yes they're usually the ones with a conscience.

  • I think you mixed up conscience with ignorance.

  • I often wonder why there appears to be an "epidemic" of people experiencing moderate to severe pain on a daily basis and at younger ages i.e.( degenerative bone diseases, fibromyalgia,(a generic term for a number of aliments related to muscle and nerve pain), migraines, depression). etc. Could it be that we've all been radiated somehow.? Just wondering!

  • chemtrails, vaccines, pharmaceutical drugs, fluoride, genetically modified seeds/food, and much more.

Euthanasia is ETHNIC CLEANSING. This video is propaganda.

  • ... What? That's a different kind of euthenasia. Sometimes people are just too old or too sick and don't want to go on living anymore. They should have they choice whether they want to continue their lives in pain or go on to meet their maker in peace. It isn't ethnic cleansing, nor is it propaganda.

It's so arrogant to tell someone that NO they cannot be relieved of their suffering because of some false deity who says it's "wrong". What is the purpose of their suffering? THERE IS NO PURPOSE.

  • ..,another indication how the " Corporate State" attempts to own our bodies&mind.

  • euthonasia is not a murder

  • Step 1. Some practice so offensive that it can scarcely be discussed in public is advocated by a RESPECTED expert in a RESPECTED forum.Step 2. At first, the public is shocked, then outraged.Step 3. But, the VERY FACT that such a thing ould be publicly debated becomes the SUBJECT of the debate.

  • Step 4. In the process, sheer repetition of the shocking subject under discussion gradually dulling its effect.Step 5. People then are no longer shocked by the subject.Step 6. No longer outraged, people begin to rgue for positions to moderate the extreme; or, they accept the premise, challenging, instead, the means to ACHIEVE it.

  • Right the hell on sitonapotatopanotis!!!! You nailed it!

  • Murder.

  • You are only 29, wait until your very old. you will see.
