@KingBhatt55 Yes you are correct, you need a 3d vision ready 120hz monitor, tv, or projector to view 3d vision with the glasses in this video. 3d vision 2 is coming out soon, i wiil try to do an unboxing and review of those when i get them.

Old technology that they decided to put out has new... Most people that have bought the 3d glasses and 120hz monitor don't even even use them anymore, Its get old and boring quickly not to mention that its not very impressive.

@brunthroath6912 I think it more depends on the game you play. I have never watched a 3D bluray so I can not comment on that. I have played Batman Arkham Asylum in 3D and me along with about 20 people I showed it too were amazed! Trine also looks incredible in 3D. I only use them in games where they work perfectly. If you think that nvidia 3d vision is not impressive then you might have problems with your vision.

Those aren't glass? Probably some sort of refracting lens array, reflecing lasers ringed around the side (lights or leds around the side) and then catching and scattering the light on and off every other 60th of a second in sync with the screen

Ill get this if I decide to get a 3D monitor. I am def getting a new monitor soon and I already have a 3D card.

I just wonder if a 3D monitor is worth it

@Mikuz a 120hz 3d monitor is incredible. even in non-3D the 120hz makes video and gaming so much smoother than a monitor/ tv with less than 120hz refresh rate. 3d is obviously also an incredible feature. my recommendation is to play Batman Arkham Asylum for your first 3d game. It is probably the most incredible gaming experience you will have in your life so far.

oke i have a GTX 460 ( can i see 3D vision with it ) and i got a reguilar LED,full HD tv ( can use it as monitor ). when i have this kit do i need a special 3D monitor or work it on every monitor

@edineka12 yes you need a 3dtv, 3d monitor, or 3d projector, your video card is 3d capable

@panterml Actually, they do have it even when u posted your comment. It is offered through iz3d and can be used with passive polarized monitors/glasses, and they just added support for active shutter 3d like Nvidia 3d.

I need opinions... Is the Nvidia 3D vision really worth it? Is it worth paying $200 for the 3D bundle and buy a 120hz monitor (which cost more than any standard 60hz monitor)? Like I want to know how good the 3D vision actually is.

@TearsOfWar1 i have played Batman Arkahm Asylum in 3d and it is absolutely incredible, words can't even describe how amazing it looks, it is as if you are controlling real live action figures! I have watched the Resident Evil 5 benchmark videos and that looked amazing in 3d. F.E.A.R also looked very good in 3d i was actually dodging slow motion bullets while playing. Check the link in my description for nvidia's list of recommended and optimized 3d games. a 120 hz monitor is worth it for 3d/ 2d.

@hdgamevideos1 Does it make you feel cross eyed? Like when I watch Avatar in 3D it seemed kinda gimmicky and it feels like my eyes were cross eyed. I want to know if Nvidia 3D is better than that. I guess I can get a GTX 480 instead of what I was going to get (5970). I will probably get the Alienware OptX AW2310 which cost $500 for my 120hz monitor.

@TearsOfWar1 it does not make me cross eyed. the movie theater 3d glasses and the effect they produce are absolute garbage compared to the nvidia 3d vision. i have the aw2310 overall it is very good in 2d/3d however it suffers from backlight bleeding (white blur on top and bottom of screen when screen is very dark). it is there but not terrible, and i think all other current 3d monitors suffer from same problem. i beleive LG is coming out with a 3d monitor soon, you might want to wait for that.

the box says you need windows vista or windows 7. being that you can run those operating systems on apple computers i think it would work. you should contact nvidia for an official answer.

@dg4214 i am using the gtx 480 graphics card. do i actually sound british? i ordered this through the company that built my computer originpc and you can buy the 3d vision from newegg, tigerdirect , nvida , ebay, and probably many more places. i have tried the 3d vision with batman AA and it looks incredible!!
