Here's a helpful tip for opening the chest, bring noted lockpicks and around 1-4k cash (depends on how many lockpicks you bring) sell them to the general store in the area and buy them back, this method saves alot of time and is very helpful.

Once you get 41 thieving go Pyramid plunder (room 4). It's fastest way to do last remaining 2 levels.

it was te desert disclaimer that was given to the ppl that go through the shantay pass it no loger availabe.... it is not needed fot hte quest... and you need 53 thieving to opena a chest in a part of the quest plz ppl there are 3 vids take a look on part 1/3 1/3 and 3/3 about the book its the one that the guy on diggsite exam center gives to you and the secod song is welcome to guasave people
