How long have you been playing bass? I've been playing for about 2 years. I'm actually trying to learn this song right now which is how I found your video. I only have a 4 string tho, so I always have to play differently. Any tips?
@caseyxthexkitty In this video, about 3 1/2 years. For you, I'd say do Drop C tuning. The only problem with it is that you may need to adjust your bridge lengths to make the strings sound right on the higher frets when you drop tune. With a guitar it's not so noticable, but on a bass it can be pretty rediculous. Message me if you need more info on that. My tips would be to look up the bass track and compare what you're playing with that, and if you have a hard part, just work it with a metronome

I hate to see people who end up limited to 3 fingers. Also, if you're playing it finger style, practice kind of a sweeping from the A to E string when you can. Like, if you change from A to E string, use the same finger to pluck both. It'll save you energy and let you play faster with less effort.

@FURRY1995 Um I use it like half of this song. And I do use all five strings pretty often personally. Not as much on the high G, but it gets used enough to be useful. Especially if I'm playing something in jazz or something. And my own songs use the high G a good bit too, and go down to the low B

As I said in the description, I had been in the rain, and made this cover purely for my own purposes. I posted two months after i made it. I felt like being showy. Did I miss notes? Yes. Was it more fun? Also yes.

I'll remember the next time I play bass to make sure that I dont purposely pull my underwear up and pants down as well as put my head in the shower and take off my shirt so that way I can play the instrument.

@Bowyerma I'm sorry my underwear was too high. I can never find pants skinny and long enough for me. As I said in the description, I had been in the rain, and made this cover purely for my own purposes. I posted two months after i made it. I felt like being showy. Did I miss notes? Yes. Was it more fun? Also yes.
