  • This is absolute heaven in the ballet world, it's very hard to equal in every respect, exquisite.

Once said by Balanchine(1972) the ballet has nothing to do with life, non-narrative. The sheer beauty and grace of this ballet symbolise what every commited dancer dreams of in perfection.

  • עברית עברית !!!!!

  • Notice the male allows his partner to express with grace and beauty. Though the male normally leads but it's her movements compliment the lead as if she was leading uniquely, herself.

  • Oh, look at the choreography! The pair so distinct, they complement each other but fulfilling their roles in a graceful dance, acting as a single entity, a metaphor of a pair of swans in a lake, perhaps slightly illuminated in moonlight. The background of ballerinas complement and contrast simultaneously and yet partially outlining the area in which the pair performs. They also could symbolize a graceful moment in which the pair found each other and perform in reserved delight.

  • Thank you so much for posting the music!

I love the dream quality of this production. I don't know if it is the lighting or editing on the videographer's part. However, I thought the slyphide dancing with the poet in the beginning may have had some trouble or something.
