Even considering the times in which this was made (1930s or early 40s) this is pretty awful. They don't do the song very well for one thing, the mugging and half-assed dancing don't help and the band is half-dead. I believe this is what used to be called (no insult intended on my part) a coon act. The whole thing makes me cringe! I wonder where it came from....a movie maybe?
