If the real Pokémon designs were really that terrible, Pokémon wouldn't be the second best selling video game series ever. These designs look like bigger versions of the starters with random things pasted onto them. That's not how professional designing works. The real designers put thought into their designs. You idiots are just too blind to see it. There's a reason behind every element of Serperior's design, or any Pokémon, really. Designs like this would ruin the series.

Think about it, there were no fans before the 1st generation meaning there were no one to beg for certain designs and A LOT of people throughout Youtube LOVES the 1st generation. The more we try to come up with new ideas for Pokemon (whether it's for fun or better designs), the more we may actually be taking ideas away from them.
