If you just listen this Lavrov's speech or couple another you'll know that Russia begging for International investigators and International police to keep piece in the region. For now Europe not in a hurry to send their Investigators and piecekeepers and that's why Russian soldiers are still in Ossetia.

The west does not Trust Russia & will not endanger EU UN investigators in the region They have no troops

I want to say that to everybody who are sending cheers to Lavrov's speech that his speech is not only his own position but the official position of Russia. And Russia was constantly repeated pieces of this position on different occasions: Medvedev explained it couple days after Georgia invaded into South Ossetia, Putin later described it to German TV, Lavrov also described it several times on different press-conferences.

I'm thinking about what you're saying. It's a good point, however, Russia is now calling for a "new security architecture," so NATO has lost much out of this wild foray and may, eventually, become obsolete.

Georgia can only hurt NATO, and is continuing to do so. Even if what you say is true, it still, IMO, represents a major strategic blunder on the part of the NWO. They should have stayed out of Georgia. Now they've shot themselves in the foot, and NATO, in the foot.

I disagree, there is a border dispute between Georgia and "Russia" and the only way it can be resolved is if Nato countries recognize the two break away regions as independent countries.

If they do that then expect Crimea and eastern Ukraine to go for independence ( probably already in the works ) so now the Russians have them over a barrel with Border disputes.

This wouldn't happen if the whole population believed in Joining Nato but you have few dictating to the Populace.
