BYU isn't as great as The U. However, without them, this wouldn't be the greatest rivalry in all of college sports. It does take two to tango. Go, Utes!
BYU-Utah isn't the greatest rivalry in college football (see USC-Notre Dame) nor is it the most even (see Army-Navy) but it is the most passionate rivalry out there. A loss to either side is a loss of your dignity (for some that lasts a day for others that lasts a week). BYU-Utah-TCU are the cream of the crop of the Mountain West Conference and whenever TCU isn't doing good the Holy War usually decides who wins the game.
My favorite part was when BYU lost to Utah this year ('09). I really like how Max Hall threw 5 interceptions. Why to go Coutards! Oh wait . . . I just intercepted a ball from Max Hall!! Ha - Ha !

Any rivalry where the last 25 years is a 13-12 split (to the cougars, btw) is a good one. This game is one of the highlights of my year
