The danger with being an MMA fan is that I'm drowned out 24/7 by the WrestleMania converts, who all chant "USA" even though both fighters are from Canada, and start booing if the fight stops due to anything but 1st round KO.

K-1 is actually the most prestigious fighting league out there now. UFC is a money whore, and Strikeforce doesn't have enough fan base yet.

@FFMSmit Video games frequently tell stories with just as much depth as novels, and often convey their underlying themes and morals much better than literature, due to a more native relationship between to the characters in the story.

Are you blind? You don't think Kinect will help people physically? Why are Wii's used in rehabilitation and hospitals around the globe? Because they help patients physically advance. You're ignorant to assume that your "wasted" time will be like everyone else's.

@xVxNICKxVx Lag is caused by the number of people in the room. It works fine if nobody's standing behind you. Cameras also seem to throw it off a little. Probably something to do with the Infrared cam or the Structured light scanner.

@dragonflamer103 if your shot in game currently do you feel you have to control every animation ? the more I think about fps controls on kinect the more I want to see it. step forward = move forward step left = strafe left step right = strafe right nuetral = stop back step= reverse. look = your torso with a scanned in light gun jump = jump take a knee = duck lay down = prone fps games are gunna be a workout , phew

Looks fun, but it would probably piss me off since I am a boxer. You can't really use angles or change levels or defend certain ways it seems. Hopefully this can be the future and they can make it even better. Hopefully they will make a boxing game where it can track your whole body, footwork and all. It would be great to use as a shadowboxing supplement.

@Gamezero05 That is a really great idea. I was hoping that Kinect would track whole body, and very accurately to, but oh well. At least it's more responsive and gives you more freedom than Wii. I really hated the Wii.

@Gorideyurbike Nope if you go over ametuer the opponents get WAY overpowered and its fucking hard as hell to beat them and online they don't even box they like stand in front of the sensors and move their hands real fast to knock you out in like 3 secs none of it is really realistic, and sometimes the punches dont even go through and its really frustrating.
