so sad :( im like crying hes so sweet and an insperation..i dont have diabetes but i have a 78% chance of getting it and i do have low blood sugar(called hypogycemia)and hes just helped me and my family get through some hard times n not in person but through his music.

i think its great hes talking about it. it helps ppl uncover their sypmtoms and keeps ppl informed that in case these things happen to them, so they kno. nick is like the spokesperson of diabetes and i love that about him. its great and he talks to TONS of kids with it. hes so nice and i love him. and diabetes is something ppl need to kno about!

dude....okay i know that diabetes is serious, and i have a friend with diabetes, and my grandma has it, but i think they are over doing this whole nick jonas has diabetes thing. i mean, he's not the only one with diabetes. and don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of theirs, but come on, there are people in the world who have diabetes and don't even have the money to take care of it. people are dying out there. he's got an OmniPod, and those are really expensive. he's not suffering like others.

yeah don't get me wrong. i'm not saying diabetes isn't serious. i do know a lot about it because it runs in my family too, and i have friends who suffer from Type 1. i'm just saying it's a little ridiculous how there are a lot of people who seem to only care about diabetes just because teen pop sensation Nick Jonas from omg the Jonas Brothers has it. it's more like they're supporting him rather than the illness itself and the people who suffer from it too. or like they're suddenly being aware.
