I don't know...but I cant seem to get into his version of this song. He's not bad but I think Perry has a better range and control. Also, while Augeri is a pretty good showman and the fans are into him, Perry's a better performer. I don't...this guy was a good replacement but Perry out sings him on this one by a long shot. Sounds to me like he's kinda struggling in parts but my God folks, don't kill me. This is merely an humble opinion. Either way, he's still a decent replacement..or was rather.

Augeri´s got talent!!! Truly an awe singer and without him, Journey is shit...*ouch*..I take it back...without him they are just another aor-act wiith no personality/soul...not bad but not good and people will not remember them after years gone by.

Good vocalists use that technique to control fidelity while singing powerful notes live.
