100 feet would take 2.5 seconds to impact. using x=16.1*t^2 (at these speeds air resistance is negligible). All three people in this video take about 2.0 seconds (timed with stopwatch). It's likely about 60-70 feet.

Also, it's not the G's or really even the surface tension you need to worry about, it's kinetic energy, which is a function of velocity.

I have jumped from high before and if you don't hit the water correctly it is VERY PAINFUL! These guys are definitely not tucking legs and arms correctly...I assure people that they felt the sting of hitting that water. This is NOT a good idea, nor is it fun. Unless you know how to hit the water, do not try this, it is dangerous. If you have to, then keep your legs straight and together and keep your arms tight to the side of your body. Make sure you have plenty of depth of water too!
