This song was the answer to my prayers. My girlfriend has had a hard life, and I've always wanted to fix her past if I could. But this helped me see that just knowing you belong can mean the world.

That's what Christianity is supposed to be, not what we have made it. Yes this song can be interpreted many many different ways. @Jordinfan97 There's 4 types of love described in the bible. The friendship love, the commitment love, the sexual love, and the god love. You have to have all four to have a good relationship. You can't have commitment but not friendship and sexual. That's like saying the vows and following them but not knowing the person you said them to. And without God Love, you can't have a firm foundation. It'll crumble. God set it up just right so that you can have the best of joy when you get it right.

@sorrowangelx8 I know, right? I wish I knew this band back when I was going through so much. I felt really out of place and just forgotten. Sure, I had a good family, I had what I wanted, but I had no friends, I had no real life. and it felt like everyone was fighting around me. I felt stupid, fat, ugly, and unwanted. But ever since I restarted my life and put God back as number one, I've been over blessed. God really does provide for us.

O another relighouse song, so to this i say i love this band, but i`ve already said i live like a christiona munuse the god part, i do justuce and love kindness, but unfortunetly i also constantly feel like yelling, F U god i do things my way, i don`t do things for god i do the things i do because they r the right thing to do, and as a bonuse i don`t need to preach 2 ppl who already know wht they beleive, mormens need 2 accept other religons, UR great ppl, but u tick alt of ppl off

@victormania2008 you should look up "Jesus loves you" and "Me and Jesus" by Stellar Kart:) Those songs don't really apply to any gender. They're just as awesome as this song though:)

I personally think that any song means different things to different people and please don't bring religion into it being a Christian band doesn't mean its only for christians it means that the members if the band are Christians but feeling an urge to jump on the band waging here what proof is there of evolution?

@Jordinfan97 There's 4 types of love described in the bible. The friendship love, the commitment love, the sexual love, and the god love. You have to have all four to have a good relationship. You can't have commitment but not friendship and sexual. That's like saying the vows and following them but not knowing the person you said them to. And without God Love, you can't have a firm foundation. It'll crumble. God set it up just right so that you can have the best of joy when you get it right.

@sorrowangelx8 I know, right? I wish I knew this band back when I was going through so much. I felt really out of place and just forgotten. Sure, I had a good family, I had what I wanted, but I had no friends, I had no real life. and it felt like everyone was fighting around me. I felt stupid, fat, ugly, and unwanted. But ever since I restarted my life and put God back as number one, I've been over blessed. God really does provide for us.

Alternatively, you could be getting at that I contested that Halestorm sounds like Paramore, despite Halestorm being formed first. But most would say they copied the more successful band because they wouldn't know that.

The only bad thing about this band is the arguments that worm their way into the comments. I get that this is a Christian band and all, but it really ruins the song when people argue religion over the Internet. Remember people, there are a such thing as trolls. And some people don't like having a religion that they don't agree with forced on them. Myself included.

This song is for everybody non christians or Christians. @donnieray444 I totally agree with you, there are multiple ways of looking at it for sure. I was just pointing out the point of view they were writing it for. I look at it multiple ways myself but it is a song expressing a point to God also. Not everyone has to think that way, and I'm definitely not saying its the only way of looking at it.
