Some one hacked our account a couple of weeks ago with something my hubby downloaded and it sent him a virus that came up on wow login screen and said he had to install that new patch 2.4, and it wouldn't let him get on unless he downloaded it, so..he did and then just turned pc off and the next day account had been hacked, And when we called Bliz they said patch 2.4 wasn't even out yet! In other words just keep firewalls and virus protecters up to date and on, and be carefull what you download!

I had a key logger virus i got by downloading some program. the same day that i broke down and bought gold for the first time is when my account was hacked. lost all my gold plus all items worth anything. never buy gold as i feel that they were probalbly the ones who hacked me. also set up characters advertising gold for sakle and got me 2 diferent 24 hour bans for this, ghad to re install windown and wipe the drive to get rid of the virus.
