Was there for my first gathering. got back yesterday. my face is sunburned. but double rainbows and tripping on full moon at night forth it all. and Rainbow family is nothing like $cientology. Scientology asks for yer money. Family asks for peace, love and respect for nature and fellow males and females. There are no leaders. Howdy friend;

I live in northern New Mexico and I'm asking anyone who can to take their video and audio recording devices to the gathering this year. There have been reports that the forest service, working with law enforcement and other agencies, are conducting random searches and seizures of tents, vehicles, luggage, and persons. Please help us get some hard evidence. If these are nothing but rumors, having video of the scene would help to silence them.

I'll be hanging out Thursday or Friday and will be taking my videocam. I should have no problem with the police because I speak their language, and I'm never afraid to point my camera at them. After all, they are public servants and we the people do hold them accountable for their actions, good deeds and misdeeds alike.

many of us all over the planet will be holding the vigil together on the 4th for peace and world healing. norm and i are having many fond memories of our journey to the last natl rainbow gathering that was held in tres piedras...i'll never forget the smell of sage after the rain... the sheep drive ...the tears of joy on the fourth when the kiddie parade came into the circle.. and the music and merriment that ensued... and i know scads of rainbow gathering goers who aint about doin drugs at all!
