If only 2 or 3 were made then its a prototype and not a production car. In this case 31 were made which means it went on productiion. On Top Gear they said it was street legal but the only problem was it had slick tires on that one and thats on street legal. It develops 750 hp and has a Top Speed of about 390-400km/h.

@JodyGmsN1kK You mean the FXX, which had only 31 produced, which is NOT street legal, nor production. ONE company turned their own FXX into a street legal car. The FXX hasn't run any similar tracks that I can find. They ran it on Top Gear, but Top Gear is afraid that the ACR and ZR1 will kill their Euro times. Unfortunately, after Top Gear learned that the FXX was running slicks, they removed it from their top times list. The 599XX ran a 6:58, but it's not production or street legal either.

@thechaser1985 Sorry m8. You are very wrong. The FXX is not basicly an Enzo, only looks pretty much like one and its street legal. If 31 were made it means it went on production. If only 2 or 3 were made then its a prototype and not a production car. In this case 31 were made which means it went on productiion. On Top Gear they said it was street legal but the only problem was it had slick tires on that one and thats on street legal. It develops 750 hp and has a Top Speed of about 390-400km/h.

The FXX uses a lot of the components from the Enzo, the Enzo engine, it uses tech from the Enzo, it's new platform is based on the Enzo and it's design is based on the Enzo... and it is NOT street legal! Look it up man! Owners have to drive them on tracks. Only ONE company made ONE of them street legal. Stop typing what you THINK you know and do some research.

The viper uses such a big engine (8.1liter) to extract just 600hp wich gives it just about 80hp per liter. Plus the 458 has the higgest hp per liter from a aspirated engine. 570hp from 4.5 liter. Now thats what you call proper engennering

well, vipers are the ultimate exotic American muscle car...at least until the new ford gt came out but track vehicles well American muscle has always had under steer causing a drifting like action when driving at speed around corners and Ferrari are notorious for their cornering skills, at this instance the viper guy got to happy with the right peddle and cost himself the race/car and nearly his life but this was a surprise and had he driven a better line he could have coasted to a win!
