  • DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY THERE PRODUCTS DO NOT WORK I BOUGHT A 180$ PLANE AND IT COULD NOT GET OFF THE GROUND AND YES I KNOW HOW TO FLY A RC PLANE.

  • interesting, because the actual space for the lipo is behind the landing gear

  • @xh558able The hb super cubby doesnt need a lipo battery... because IT COMES WITH ONE

  • i have a new one, how long does it take to charge the baterry and make it full?

  • @bananahobby

I have a ? b4 i strt to fly this would it be most easiest to take this super cub off from smooth pavement or a softball field wen the dirt is hard?? i had problems with the softball field but anyways which would be easiest?? THNKU!!! HAPPY FLYING =))

  • hmmm..... maybe if we say DY NAM over and over it will make us seem smart ......

  • what is better this super cub or the hobby zone super cub

  • Hi i am thinking about buying this plane but i have not been flying rc for about a year is this a good plane for me?

  • get the hobbyzone piper supercun LP it much better but only 3ch. Make sure to get the LP as it's newer.

  • I don't suggest this plane.

  • Hi!

I like this airplane, and just wanted to know is ESC in this plane has autocutoff feature for lipoly batteries?

  • Yes it has a low voltage cutoff.

  • wingspan ?

  • All the specs are listed under this J-3 on our site. I'm not sure right off hand.

  • Is it capable of take offs on grass?

  • Short grass will be fine!

  • I am Afzal from India and I hope you remember that I buyed it from Banana Hobby, waiting for your reply for my problem !! Thanks !

  • I will always reply. Maybe not right away, but I will reply!

  • Hello Pete, I have lot to say but anyway for the moment I just want to know why my transmitter can not be ON ? I have tried with old & new 4 batteries but still no power and when it ook the transmitter out of the box then i saw the wire was a little coming out from the back of the transmitter where we put the baterries/call ( 1215 R6 1.5V upto 0.5 CV ) in the transmitter ? So what is the problem? Is it defective ? or I am doing something wrong ?

  • I know the problem. The battery bay in that transmitter is a battery cartridge, It removes out and it requires a total of 8AA batteries. You only put 4 onto the front side. There is the back side if that battery holder that holds 4 more. That should solve your problem!

  • Hi again Pete. My plane is working now. I plugged some servos into the wrong places.

  • Awesome!

  • I tried both(with transmitter turned on or off) and it still make noises. I also tested the battery and mine is on 12,6V. I dont know if that is normal when its 11,1v.

  • Hi Pete. That video was very usefull and i actually bought a Super Cub. But i have some problems. When i connect the battery all the plane does is make some weird "squeeking" noises. I think its from the servos. What am i doing wrong?

  • Can you let me know if you are turning on the transmitter before or after you connect the Cub?

  • Hi Pete, I'm finding it hard to find a supplier of parts for the Topgun Park flite Super cub over here in the UK, are there any models that are similar that their parts will fit mine?

  • There are no parts that I know of that will work with your Cub. It is best to get in contact with the original manufacturer and get parts support.

  • NICE flying PETE !!! dose the cub have a sterrable tailwheel?Im thinking of buying one!

  • Thanks for the comment! Yep it sure has a steerable tail wheel!

  • Hey Pete! Nice flying as always.

Can you recommend this model for beginners?

If not, which of your 4-channel-planes would be good?

  • I can recommend this J-3 for beginners. It is very stable at low speeds and because of the material it is made of, makes it very crash resistant. Much more so than regular foam. Thanks for the comment!!

  • cool

  • thanks!

  • I wish that I had seen this before I bought the Hobby Zone cub :-(

  • That's okay! Next time!

  • :( Yeah the Hobby Zone one (in my opinion) is horrible and it doesn't have ailerons. :(

  • Its a beginner plane. Thats why lol

  • Hey Pete...

Iam interested in getting myself one of these...what are the differences between the Dynam and the Hobbyzone Super Cub...besides being 3 channel of course....motor specs? battery size? flight time? Any info would be great...and where is BananaHobby based out of? Thinking of just ordering it of your site.. cheers man Degas

  • ah never mind... found the specs on your site...something to be said about scrolling down :)

  • Degas, I do not have personal experience with the Hobbyzone Super Cub. I just know that the one I carry is awesome. Plenty of power, looks nice, and as you can see from the videos, the performance is excellent. Let me know if you have any more questions!

  • The dynam super cub has way more power and it has ailerons for more control. It also has a better more powerfull BRUSHLESS(!) motor and LiPo battery. Go with the Dynam Super Cub! XD

  • Cool! that's a nice plane

  • thanks!! Sure is fun to fly!!
