This bible preacher in this video is definitely "preaching down peoples throat." I definitely think some people need "saving" while others don't. I hate when people preach their religion to every living thing as if everyone in the world was a "sinner". I personally think religion is good for the soul but too many people take what is written out of context.
What a total $sshole this "preacher" is. Notice I put that in quotes. As if Jesus, if he really existed, would have been yelling and screaming at them. I am not a Christian but I have read and studied the Bible and done research in textual criticism as well. The really sad part is that if Jesus were to come back, which he won't because he is a myth as well, he would reserve his harshest criticism for these "preachers". People like this are why others can't take religion seriously.

When "christian" countries invaded pagan counrties it was either convert or die. Notice I put the word christian in quotations. That's because the tyrannical past of Christianity is a blemish on the record and I believe that Christianity is just now becoming the compasionate, brotherly organization it was intended to be.

Sure throughout time there were people who falsely used the name of christianity to get what they want, but that was not the true meaning of it. I'm not against religion, I'm against the institutions. Religion is practicly the same as Anarchy. The main diffrence is we don't believe in a higher being, a God. Well some pherhaps, most not, I'm not really aware of that. If you're a punk who knows what's up, likley you know what respect means, towards everyone. Tolerence goes a long way, but never back down, never let someone take the piss on you, on that point, you stand and fight. But try to live in peace most of the time. Even against cops

They didn't live what they said they were and there's too much religion(rather than true christianity) in the churches. Back in the early church days, many were won to chrisitanity and turned away from paganism, as the church was doing God's will wholeheartedly and people something meaningful in christianity.

That is just off the top of my head.
Let's not forget to mention that Jesus supported killing disobedient children in Matthew 15:4, and Mark 7:10.
I don't see what the NT has to do with anything. How does that shield the fact that Christians have committed the most/worste atrocities in the history of Religion?

@oneuniqueman777 I think you need a history lesson. In the early church days, more people became "christians" through attrition rather than divine providence. When "christian" countries invaded pagan counrties it was either convert or die. Notice I put the word christian in quotations. That's because the tyrannical past of Christianity is a blemish on the record and I believe that Christianity is just now becoming the compasionate, brotherly organization it was intended to be.

Sure throughout time there were people who falsely used the name of christianity to get what they want, but that was not the true meaning of it. Today christianity is not the bortherly organization you mentioned, I have seen christians fight and argue over scripture, I have seen racism, I have seen people show favortisim to those who have titles in church, etc.

I agree with what others said, religion seems to be dying off. I know a few athiests, some agnistics too (including myself). Good thing too because religion makes no sense at all, only the ignorant could ever believe it. Sure some of them teach good morals but do you REALLY think that some zombie came and told everyone he was the son of "god" and that if you believe that youll be saved from an eternity in hell? Sounds kind of like the US's treason policy XD
