I grew up watching their TV show and was lucky enough to see this line up live before Will left and Jimmy passed away... to this day one of the funnest concerts I've ever seen!
I remember the lads when they came to my University to do a concert (Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo) and being such a fan, I went backstage to meet them and they all signed the Rovers album I had brought with me; then me mom and Dad threw the album out when I was away for a while :(
absolute classics boys, brings me back to when I was wee lad and my folks would bring friends over after the pub and the rovers would get put on and wee sing song would break out, great songs and even better times. cheers lads

They're the best. Smooth as Irish whisky.

They are the reason that I would like to visit Ireland some day.

I love the Rovers!!! Does anyone know what the name of the first song is?

@shickeyhils It's 'The Puppet Song' (AKA 'Whiskey on a Sunday').

Fantastic! A great collection of the boys' old 'real' songs, which Irish Rovers fans love so much.
In order...
The Puppet Song (Whiskey on a Sunday)
Lily the Pink
Black Velvet Band
The Unicorn
The Orange and The Green
All Rovers classics from their early days.

I believe this clip is from their 'Silver Anniversary' TV special, as I remember them doing a medley of most requested songs on that.
Would LOVE to see this special (along with their 1971-75 TV show) released on DVD. CBC holds the copyright, so that would be the place to start.
