I like how he used more paper to make that single sheet...not counting the recycled paper, he used 2 "cover sheets" to facilitate the drying of the new paper...huh
@cherrysizzle1 The paper is made from the 'pulp', therefore, I think anything that can be made into pulp can be made into paper. Gather some sticks and blend them into pulp. That is my guess on how to make the paper without paying for anything. As for how to blend without a blender, I guess make a foot treadle and attach a knife to it? Be careful!
@0RobinHood1 i think its basicly water n shreded paper and you pour it in a square shaped frame i think theres just gaps along the side of the frame or something and a cool sheet is a dry piece of paper, Just google it n watch multiple videos before you make your own
So at what point do you size the paper? Obviously you cannot use any liquid medium on what you made in the video without size. Ink or paint will just spread out into the paper fibers. Was this an oversight or is there another video for sizing? You seem to imply that the paper is finished, but it is not if you intend it for painting or writing.
This is utterly amazing and so very interesting! I grew up to story of a great Uncle that worked at a paper mill and always been drawn to such things. I can't believe it's really this easy to do myself, this is awesome!!
this is cool. I've always wanted to know how people first made paper. Easier than I thought. I bet it was pretty expenisve though, looks like this would take a while if you need a lot of pages.
Look @ all that extra stuf he uses witch could be found by just trying harder
