I love the sound of the supercharger when you get back on the pedal...nothing quite like it..so much better than the sounds of a turbo (God i hope this thing is the supercharged model and not turboed, coz i will sound a a bit of a dick!).. I've had mine up around 230km..Coopers s Works, bigger exhaust, running Shell helix racing 100 octane. I've got a new toy which is a bit quicker though...see my vids..

Ive done the limited 136, cant imagine 155. Done 155 in longer more stable cars but the MINIs short wheel base and lack of aero stability has to make that a nervous 155. Good job on the set up.

most of minis has tires Run On Flat so blowing them is not a danger. Mini is much safer then many cars - 5 stars euro ncap

no you wont die i managed to drive mine from junction 26 to 26A of the m1 at a steady 70mph before i could get of and buy a new tire and it drove as normal as could be expected no dramas what so ever.

Anyone who has been there knows driving 250km/h isn't that hard in germany , aswell as it isn't dangerous in the right circumstances.

Don't forget getting a drivinglicense in germany is harder then elsewhere , also they are trained on doing atleast 180km/h on the autobahn in the courses . And to be honest 200km/h isn't that fast actually , i myself was stunned by it when i reached it for the first time years ago..nothing to it.

Dude, that would be a major ass-pucker moment. A few seconds at 250KPH makes 175 look like child's play...and even for that they can take you to the slammer here in the states. You German's have it good! Thanks for sharing.

not in general but there are a lot of highways on which there's no speedlimit...but there are also some where you are allowed to drive 120 oder 130 km/h (74 or 80 mph)
