His selfishness isn't really about not passing, it's more to do with his ridiculous shooting. I think he's been the leading shooter in Europe the last 4 years, the game against Atletico he spent the whole match shooting from 30+ yards, recording 12 shots by the end.

Last season he took 243 shots and scored 33 goals. Higuain took 117 shots and scored 29 goals. He's too greedy.
