Introducing the Gibson CJ-165

I have a Gibson J-200 Standard and it sounds and plays amazing.....the CJ-165 is it's little brother or cousin. However, the only person I've seen play this guitar is Miley Cyrus in 'The Climb' music video. Hers has the custom vine fretboard inlays though.

Sounds much better on its own IMO, than while it's pickup'ed. The price tag is probably like most of Gibsons, which will be dear as hell.

@KsiazeIgor Of course it does, acoustics never sound that great through a pickup. That's why you always mic up an acoustic to record it and never plug it in.

I just was out in bozeman and I picked up one of these little babies, it is such an amazing instrument, it has great sound, is very comfortable and plays great.

there is a HUGE difference in the feel of a Gibson J200 and this because of the body size. It feels much more comfortable:)

For those asking the price, a search on Google shopping shows prices from $1,869 for a CJ-165 up to $2,779 for a CJ-165 EC. Not sure what the difference is, but I am sure the more expensive model was used for the demo.

I am searching for a gibson j45 for years. Today i played both j45 and j165 models, so now i am really in doubt which one to choose!

Open chords played on the j165 sound similar to the j45, barré chords near the body sound better on tje j45, but acoustic solo's are easier on the j165, as the string tension seems to be more loose.
