Seriously, the talent in Russian figure skating is sick. This is a team that couldn't make the podium at their own Nationals with the top two teams gone, whereas in another country they'd be threatening for Gold.

Davankova/Deputat is a new Juniors pair and this was their debut at National Championship, finished 5th not bad at all and definitely a pair to watch out for at

the coming Juniors Worlds and Junior Grand Prix, very talented ))

Вот это пример целеустремленности и грамотной работы тренеров))) Думаю, им вполне по силам выиграть первенство России и побороться за пьедестал ЮЧМ. Если бы еще наша прогнившая ФФКР вывезла их хотя бы на пару международных стартов в первой половине сезона(((

Very good for a couple in their first season together. Next season I hope to see better choreography, more transitions.
