Hey thanks so much for your awesome vids!learnt more here than in my 2 years at art school so far ;). was wondering if you could please please do a vid about muscle structure on females, how it changes when they move/different positions or something like that. would be much appreciated. Thanks! :)
he can u tell me what program u use... or do u guys use a pen on touchscreen.. or paint?? Can u tell me where to download programs to draw things on the computer?
Hi, thanks for posting the basic poses on your blog. Since you've drawn the pelvis as a circle, I can connect the legs easily. Now, only problem left is connecting the arm to the torso. Every time I tried, the arm felt alien & disconnected from the body. How can I make the arm feel like it's really the part of the body?
Give me a few days...I will try to figure it out how to easily explain...and I will post video reply on the blog. Thanks for the comment and feedback.
No, not on this one. What I do is I go to a local life drawing session at least once a week. It a classical way to for artist to train how to draw figure with real people. The more you do the more you absorb images into your brain and it will become a library of poses. Long story shot, find life drawing or figure drawing session near you (they usually hold open session at the university or something like that) That's the best way to learn how to draw figure I know of.
Ref can be used to practice, but I only recommended only if you have no choice or if you are using it for getting light &shadow and detail for finish drawing or painting.
*edit* I already got the answer on your silk spectre tutorial. Thanks.

I have a question: how many layers do you usually use? Like one for the construction lines, one for the refinement and one for the background?

Photoshop and/or Manga Studio Pro. Good old Pencil is still my most fav though it's just hard to record a live video and optimize for webstuff.
