I don't care for commentary. It overlaps the game audio. I prefer to hear the game not someone talk during it. Commentary seems to be the mainstream on youtube now a days but not everyone cares or wants it.

great game. very tense because you dont know when or where the aliens and predators would show up or which would show up first.

Do the "ghost" readings on the M.T. ever freaked you out? It's like every time you hear those beeps, it reminds you of that scene from "Aliens":

"Are you reading that right?"

"IT'S READING RIGHT, MAN!"

"Well then you're not reading IT right!"

well, if im correct, i believe the game actually uses a motion tracking system, a basic one, but one that works, as it detects doors opening and closing, flares i think, and bugs within the environment (those beetle looking ones), i don't think i've ever heard "ghost" readings in it... Although you can bet your ass that you'll never really know what your picking in AVP1, sometimes i would pick up movement, go to where it was coming from, and nothing would be their, would freak me the fuck out.

avp1s tracker also picks up aliens who explode into pieces and all each piece gets picked up on the tracker, lol..
