some bands from the past you see now and a) think "they were fucking awful, how on earth did i like them (the Cult) b) you think "yup, they were great and they still sound great" (the Smiths, Happy Mondays) or c) fuck, they were much better than i gave them credit for" (Kula Shaker) ... he spoke some shite but he could rock like a man possessed!
these guys came out at the wrong time. If they did this in the real acid rock days they'd be an evry person phenomenon. Unfortunately they've been somewhat of a secret. This is rock the way it ought to be.
Who ever said this sounds exactly like the record. Go listen to the record again. Vocals are completely different, Solo is different, drums are different. I know the album inside out. This isn't that.
I do and that involves plugs from the transmitter being shoved into the ouputs of the instruments, I don't see that here and the guys don't have the normally clearly visible Transmitters on their straps either.
Plus according to a "Guitar and Bass" interview from those days Chrispian Mills said that he HATES wireless since it depletes his sound.
Search up the live version they did on Glastonbury and hear how different that one sounds from the record, as opposed to this one which sounds EXACTLY like the record.
this is the first time i watch KULA SHAKER perform live since i've listen to their song from year 1997...awesome..! really love them..keep on rockin' dude!! last but not least...the vocalist have a really nice haircut..hahaha ;P
why are all that stupid people just standing there? only from the middle of the song a few of them begin to shake a bit. should've better stayed home. great track!
wtf is this?

ermm whats that fender twin doing on the stage? and 2:37...leads?
certainly a live audio track, and they seem to be doing too good a job at syncing - definately live in my opinion
