@mrspuppylove24 I was once a self harmer, because someone I cared about died from their own hand. My girlfriend saved me from myself, and we've been together ever since, not a single arguement, and this was well over a year ago now. It's surprising how powerful the feeling that you aren't alone can be.. She's also wanting to become a therapist, and I support her on it. She saved my life, and she could just as easily save others.
I hope you can eventually become one as well, follow your dreams.

Everyone has depressing moments in their life,some more than others, and in my opinion you need a song for those sad times so that you don't resort to self harm or get depressed. I don't know about you, but my list of songs that help me get through things and that I can relate to are(in no particular order):

my sister laughs when i get cut of hurt... i wish i could turn invisible go back in time when we where always together playing in the rain, playing with jumping beans, making mud pies together and not being mean to me all the time.. but that will never happen.. I'm a loner at school most of the day.. my life is... lets say kind of horrible.. and when i listen to the beginning of this song the piano. i look at my live compared to my life then.. it's a BIG difference...

This is a song to show whoever made yu feel bad, wrong,awkward, or messed up that yu gave everything to them and were never fully appreciated. yu were better than and too good for whoever reminds yu of this song. This song stabs me in the back.
